A helicopter was flying around above Seattle yesterday when an electrical malfunction disabled all of the aircraft's electronic navigation and communications equipment. Due to the clouds and haze, the pilot could not determine the helicopter's position and course to steer to the airport.

Good Maen friends!
Great way to start my day - with giggles from Grass-hopper and Neil.
Still dark here in CA, but I'm yet to get adjusted to the time change, so I'm living with DST.

Well, yesterday's efforts have yielded a couple of huge stacks - one to keep in the attic and one to pass on to those as can use the items therein - plus a heavy sack of stuff that will go out on the curb tonight. But wait, there's more ...

We are moving Starr's bedroom largely into storage as her temporary away is looking more permanent.

Faun is moving into Starr's room and Little Plum into Faun's (which is already painted pink), leaving me with a way to make a sewing and crafts center and get that stuff out of my walk-in More...

Plum... Now that you've got your place organised, I've got a basement that needs cleaning!

I have always hoped our basement would flood someday. Then I'd just get a dumpster and pitch everything! No such luck! We're high and dry! (The only time I go down there is to get my Christmas decorations out at Christmas time.)

Trust me, Shiela.... You don't want your basement to flood. Been there. It's not fun and the mold issues are dangerous.

I've posted my Remembrance Day poem in my Gallery.
Armistice Day is tomorrow (11th) and Remembrance Sunday in next Sunday.

My goodness we have a lot of stuff to get rid of!!!

Little Plum and Faun are protesting today that their throats hurt and they are coming down with something. I'd be skeptical, but Little Plum has managed a fever and Faun is usually the last to complain about anything.
