Hi everyone,
I feel really crook about beating Joe by the width of a whisker to the first post today. It was sheer luck I was there. It's only happened twice in the whole of my Sudokuland career.
Sorry Joe!

Good Morning. Our blizzard is shaping up to be just that. We have almost a foot of snow on the ground, with another 5 expected, but that is not the biggest problem. The wind is gusting like crazy out there and is blowing the snow around to near white-out conditions. I can remember only a More...

The snow was in the San Francisco Bay area yesterday. Down to 500 feet. We haven't had it that low for at least 30 years.

Happy birthday to all of your relatives, GMo! At least it must be easier to send cards... You only have to remember one month of the year!
You seem to be showing your 'little' sister the way in life in style, if you ask me! Lucky sister!

Angie, I have no concept of that much snow and how you survive it. It could be a bit of an adventure as long as your power stays on. Keep warm and snug and safe. Remember the rest of the world is only a keyboard away if you get bored ....!

Oh, Angie! I loved snow days when the kids were young!
I'd make a special treat that would take a half day to make. We only made it on snow days. It was a raised dough with Golden Delicious apples cut up into it, dropped into a deep fat fryer and then dipped in cinnamon sugar afterwards. Had to More...

My thoughts are with those in the Midwest, getting slammed by a classic blizzard.
It looks so unreal to me, in shorts by the pool, enjoying 80F and a warm south breeze, to look on-line and see folks suffering in the white cold of winter's grasp.
Many have asked about my photos using my Canon, More...

I pray you and your loved ones will be safe, Angie.

Here on the other side of still-warm Lake Michigan we are dripping wet with melting snow and rain. The wind is strong and it will be getting much stronger through the morning.

The wind is bringing in cold weather and snow, but no More...

A Tale Of Three Presidents...
What did Hoover, Truman, and Eisenhower have in common? Here is something that should be of great interest for you to pass around. I didn't know of this until it was pointed out to me.
