 Yippee! Two days in a row, Keith! 10/Dec/11 1:55 AM |  |
everyone! Keith, one of the pluses would be meeting Wagdy. Visiting Egypt was a great experience. I would recommend it. Ours was a rather intense tour, with a lot of walking involved, but seeing those amazing sites was well worth it. 10/Dec/11 2:26 AM |  |
25° at 7:30 AM - another cold morning - fog in the valley below (where the airport is) otherwise clear. The sun will cut through the fog - more of the same forcasted. 10/Dec/11 2:28 AM |  |

Weary Willie Day. About Weary Willie Day - Dec 9This holiday was named for the character made famous by Emmett Kelly, who was born on this day in 1898. Today is a day to appreciate the art of clowning and the impact that it has had on our lives. Take some time to learn to juggle, or at least wear some really big pants. 10/Dec/11 2:52 AM |  |
all. Another sunny day in the mountains today. A great day for a walk along the river. Karen, I'm glad you took the time to explain the meaning of weary Willie Day. I must confess my mind went somewhere else. Now just where did I put those really big pants???? 10/Dec/11 2:59 AM |  |
Glad you cleared up what a Weary Willie was, Karen. Had me worried there for a minute. 10/Dec/11 3:01 AM |  |
Great minds, and all that, Captain! 10/Dec/11 3:01 AM |  |
 So you've been there too, eh, Kathy? 10/Dec/11 3:03 AM |  |
Kathy, you're right about meeting Wagdy. We'd have to time it so he wasn't in LA when we went. Back when Lynne was reading the Elizabeth Peters novels about Egypt, I thought we'd go for sure. The civil unrest has put a damper on our enthusiasm, as has the fact that she finished reading those novels long ago. No doubt, seeing the ruins would be worth the effort. 10/Dec/11 3:07 AM |  |
Hehehe, silly people and where your minds go. Shame, shame, shame. Hence, I looked up Weary Willie before I posted, to make sure I was still being a good girl. 10/Dec/11 3:20 AM |  |
all. I am legally licensed to drive again. Aced the written test and 'passed' the road test. The whole process took just over an hour. The DMV is finally getting it right. 10/Dec/11 3:24 AM |  |
I am so happy for you HalT.Were you nervous doing the parrellel parking thing? Do they still do that? I had to park between two post. During practice I hit the post everytime, but during the test the man said I did a wonderful job the first time. I do not think I ever did that parking ever again. 10/Dec/11 3:30 AM |  |
 Well, lookie here. 10/Dec/11 3:31 AM |  |
Down here again and I am supposed to be packing. 10/Dec/11 3:31 AM |  |
