to all and may your day be filled with sunshine. I am still having problems with my eyes a year so is still difficult to follow the numbers in the squares. I do visit the site but it is usually in the evening and it has all been said. So, not busy this morning and decided to post a 'Hello' to everyone. Hello!

I was at the bar the other night and overheard three very hefty women talking at the bar. Their accent appeared to be Scottish, so I approached and asked, 'Hello, are you three lassies from Scotland ?'
One of them angrily screeched, 'It's Wales , Wales you bloody idiot!'
Therefore, I More...

It's funny. My morning doesn't seem complete until I have a daffynition, factoid and TFTD.

To say nothing of ''exercising'' my brain with one of Greg's, Hal's, or Serena's puzzles. Well, ''exercise'' may be the wrong word. ''Fried'' may be a better choice.

PLEASE NOTE:

For the first clue, either spelling can be valid for the first part of the answer. It just depends on the usage of the word.

Good morning. It looks like a quiet day around here. Hubby is glued to the TV watching football playoffs, so I'm on my own.

I'm just off to watch the 49er's game myself. Sort of a place holder until the Charger's game later. Hubby said he married me because of my fondness for football....and I make him tacos.

Good morning everyone. I looked at the weather map of Australia on the news last night. The whole country, except for a narrow strip along the east coast and cute little Tassie, was bright red. Australia is experiencing a heat wave this week as hot as last week's cold wave was cold for northern hemispherians.

Tassie it's having its own little heat wave too. The rest of the week will be over 30 for many parts of the state. It should reach 37 here on Wednesday! That's very hot for us.
