At the local Sunday School meeting, the teacher brought in some puppies. There were 20 more children than puppies. In the corner of the room, within the ant's nest, there were exactly 10 times as many ants as children. In total, including More...

Shiela, I knew what you were talking about. What if I come up with a cat related math puzzle next week? Or you can substitute kittens for puppies in today's.

all & Happy Thanksgiving to the Canadians celebrating it today. Either my computer or the Sudoku site is acting strangely lately. A couple times I have not been able to sign in, & all over the page there are words here & there that appear in red & are underlined. Anybody else having issues like this?

Kathy, sorry to say that I think Judy is right too. My daughters and my money go to Penn State, with one daughter already graduated and another a senior this year. It was an ubelieveable game...while I was there for the tailgating, had to watch the game from the comfort of my brother and sister-in-law's family room.

Poor puss . Not too comfortable on such a hard surface. Doesn't bother him though.
Thank you to all, for the good wishes for our Thanksgiving.

Since I didn't post the semordnilap puzzles until late yesterday, I'll wait until this evening before posting the answers. But I had four brave souls who tried and succeeded! A simple puzzle from a simple wee person!

HI all! Nice to see a few puzzles on the site! Keep up the good work. Autumn is kicking in here in France with some cold mornings and chilly evenings. I went to my zumba class tonight and the teacher introduced our hearts to Bokwa dancing..I say introduced our hearts because this is cardio fitness at its best! Seems to be quite amusing if only you can catch your breath! Any bokwa dancers here?

Geez, make ONE typo ... and it WAS that ... LOL! ... and they are all over you! Thanks, Neil ... just in too much of a hurry.

I'm very happy that Penn State's football fortunes are returning, Aimee! That was such an awful tragedy to overcome.

Hello everyone!
Had a great weekend up-the-river!
Didn't have time to visit yesterday - had to take 3 lead light windows from our living room to a glass artist for repair. Way over the other side of the Harbour Bridge to Alexandria!
15/Oct/13 8:59 AM
 |  |

The window spaces are covered with a sheet of plywood, which of course makes the room quite dark! But with the sun shining on the plywood, it looks very interesting - red with brown spots & stripes!
