Hello, fii!
How are things in NT?

Good Morning all. Today is a year since we lost my dad. We will celebrate his long life of happiness in his honor. Prayers to those in Japan.

It doesn't seem that it's been a year, Nancy. May he rest in peace.

Beautiful reflection but it'd be cold I think.... By the way ... it was a little serendipity being first to post ... but then I went through and took the quadrella... such little pleasures. :)

Good Maen all. I should get some work done today. All I need is some notivation and some inspiration.

We had a dry day today... and I even managed to cut the grass... just trying to keep it manageable ... down to about 4-5 inches from between a foot and more tall ... that's right folks, my "garden" is a paddock.... I'm almost tempted to leet the horses in but I do have bits of garden and bushes etc that the horses would destroy

That comment about the dry weather and grass cutting was for you Shiela ... in answer to your question "how it is in the NT?"

(About letting in the horses, not the 'going for four'!... That's always a good idea!)

fii's on a roll today. Morning all. With the time change, it's just barely starting to get light here.

Maybe in a month we'll look for some horses!
15/Mar/11 12:14 AM

OOps - you'd got it already. Once ... a bit more than half a life time ago .... when I was a little less wise ... I put the horses in to a yard to eat the grass .... and their hard hooves ... and tendancy to gallop up and down the fence ... turned it into a quagmire. It got rid of the grass but left a muddy uneven surface ... created more work than it solved.

It's not that I actually want 22.... I just want it posted ... to take away the suspense :)

By 12 noon here (just over one hour ago), there had been 255 significant aftershocks in Japan. Their rate of expression is at last slowing down, although more aftershocks will probably occur during the weeks or even months that follow.

The first year is the worst, having to go through the 'first' of everything, first birthday, first Christmas, first anniversary...it gets a little easier from here on in.

Hi Kathy,
Instead of the £*^%$ phrase that you used above, why don't you use 'boys and girls' - much clearer - especially as we all know that people on this site who post in the morning - the girls are easy and the boys are early.

Hi Captain J,

After the 'notivation [sic] and inspiration' you need some perspiration.

Do try to prevent 'expiration' - except in breathing.

Nancy - it difficult loosing a parent. Time does help soften the pain.

Kathy, have fun with your grandchildren. We love babysitting ours, but are always relieved - and exhausted - when our shift is over!

OK. I was a type. Surely not one of my better ones tho.
I also need a keyboard that would type what I meant and not what I typed. During my formative years, males did not type. We learned penmanship instead. Typing was relinquished to the girls since, for the most part, they had life choices of More...
