2:04 - what a lovely, peaceful scene. Is it sunrise or sunset?
 |  |
3;03 Might actually get below three minutes. Beautiful scenery today.
 |  |
That photographer has an eye for balance and framing. Well done.
 |  |
Chris, I think it is midday.

Must be from somewhere out west USA?

Col - I s'pose I'll have to send on Teddy's card to you....sigh, don't forget to spend to your heart's content as he really doesn't mind - the frequent flyer points we're earning for him should get him to the Florida get-together...

Why is it every time I see 'Warning Warning' I think of the robot from Lost In Space?
 |  |
Not seeing a cataract, I would describe this as a catchment.
 |  |
These jokes are great. I have not seen any in the last few days. Keep it up.
 |  |
Wow! What an amazing picture! The background is beautiful!
 |  |
Hi Lizbaby4 - I only thought it may be sunrise or sunset due to the stark contrast between light on the top of the mountains and shadow on the remainder of the photo. It certainly has a USA-look about it, almost definitely not Australia.

3:14 Hi to all. Wonderful shot, the colours are amazing!

Thought for the Day:

Whatever you are, be a good one.
 |  |
Billy - As Ted is going to the 'croc' I think he may need more than one credit card to satisfy all the women...

2:36 Good evening/morning everyone.
Certainly a stunning photo.
 |  |
Good morning to all! What a nice picture to start the day with.

As to the road race, well gentle Oz women, some sad news. The NCC (National Capital Commission) will not allow our road cars on the canal for a race. Their suggestion was to look at some other venue if we want to use More...

OK Greg, I opt for the snowmobile. I hope you've got them in different colours for us girls from downunder, and they have to be colour co-ordinated with our clothes of the day. Anyway, what's an ATV?
 |  |
ATV - all terrain vehicle. Don't you Aussies use them to round up rabbits?
 |  |
Come on Greg, our rabbits need something bigger than an ATV. Have you seen the size of our wittle bunny wabbits here? Of course you haven't, you haven't been here, YET!

2:04 Good maeN. Seven days to go until the Ashes Test Series begins.

''I have always fantasised about cricket. Even now, on sleepless nights, I can dismiss the entire Australian eleven for a dozen runs'' Donald Pleasance, Actor.
 |  |
Hi Dave, how are you today. I'm waiting for the one day series, I prefer them. More exciting to watch.
 |  |
Hello Anne and Billy. Thanks for the photos of last Saturday morning. Has anyone submitted any of the photos yet?
 |  |
Anne,

''The instant, one day game is rather like a one-act play, whereas a five day Test corresponds to an Elizabethan five-act dramawith its swift reversals of fortuune and cumulative tension'' Michael Billington, Theatre Critic, The Guardian
 |  |
OK Dave, I'll take your word for it, re: the cricket.
Yes, I've submitted a photo but it will probably take about 3-4 weeks to show up.
 |  |
Dave - how did Karen's 40th party go. I'm sure you all had a good time.
 |  |
Billy

I didnt' put 'Will Robinson' in the 'warning warning' message.

Oh Dear - does this mean I'm as old as you??
 |  |
OH NO Andre- do you really think I'm going to let Ted get his hands back on his card? - I think not!

Sshhhhhhhh - dont' let him know that I'll have it with me - he can pay with the cold hard stuff while we empty the top shelf with his card

How to Tell the Weather

To Tell the weather, Go to your back door and look for the dog.
If the dog is at the door and he is wet, it's probably raining. But if the dog is standing there really soaking wet, it is probably raining really hard.
If the dog's fur looks like it's been More...

A man follows a woman out of a movie theatre, who has a dog on a leash. He stops her and says, 'I'm sorry to bother you, but I couldn't help but notice that your dog was really into the movie. He cried at the right spots, he moved nervously in his seat at the boring parts, but most of all, he More...

Oh, ap, well done. I like it. I'd better go and check to see if my cat is covered in snow, or rain, or mud.
 |  |
Anne, Karen will love you for that! I think I said she was forty...something. A gentleman would not reveal a lady's age. And I wouldn't either!

It was a wonderful day thank you. As usual for our family gatherings, far too much food to eat and too little time to eat it in.
 |  |
Best way to get a man to do something, is to suggest they are too old for it.
 |  |
well, anne did you notice that the comment by the cat in gen chat??(which implies the cat meant everything it said)and the one abt the wisdom of the dog in the joke??it was accidental, still looks very appropriate....

At last we Irish can show real interest in the Ashes cricket series in Oz.
But I will have a dilemma, which team do I support – the Ozzies (my natural inclination) or England (pewth) even with one Irishman?
SYDNEY (Reuters) - Irishman opening batsman Ed Joyce was called into the England Ashes More...

Well, I think it's good night from me.
Enjoy your day/night where ever you may be.
