Good Maen to Marie. It's a lovely warm morning in Melbourne but will be a hot day.

Hi everyone!to Heiki just ignore the comment from Gday. To Gday why don't you go get a personality transplant, or at least learn to loosen up and relax, I reckon you'd have an ulcer???

A new personal best with 2.19.
And what a fabulous photo!!

I think everyone that Marie might need a BIG GROUP HUG!!!!! what do you think?? ok on More...

good Maen everyone.

An easier easy today.

Really hot and sticky here in Melbourne. Not nice!

New record time for me 5:38 What a scary picture. A storm such as that completely erased a neighbors farmstead, leaving only foundations and holes in the ground where there were trees before.

3:41 First timed puzzle. A true photo of fearsome wonder.

Well! Some interesting posts today. Didn't think G'day was being offensive - gave me a laugh. Marie too - an alter ego i think - trying to have a bit of fun by teasing ( i think an aussie bloke's sense of humour showing there).
as for the debate about do we have a life if we post here - of course we do ... and it's filled with sudoku friends among other things.

Geez, I thought i was bad, but that Marie from Mars is a trimmer!

Just trying out my new name

I thought you were bad too - I still do !

3:23 - a little slow today. What a spectacular photo!! I hope the owner of that photo came out in one piece. Well done on your PB Ree P! Now lay off one another and enjoy the puzzles... the weekend is not far away.

Nadia, do you have a girl called Ariana?
MAEN is for Morning, Afternoon, Evening and Night. Some write their current one with a big letter.

Good mAen

I have an addition to Marie from Mars' joke:

15) I said sip not Gulp

Beautiful 28 degrees celsius in Sydney today - too bad i'm stuck in the office....
 |  |
Why doesn't the first person to post for the day explain what MAEN means that way any newbies for the day won't need to ask?

Beth and Bettie...I agree with your comments on Pg. 3 re: Mars.
Ed - now, now, be good.
LK - I would be one on the golf course in the video, but I had a shoulder replaced in Nov. and not playing this year. Usually, I am out there 3 days a week.
Still trying to get caught up on the comments so on to Pg. 4 and 5. I redid the puzzle and shaved a minute off my time.
 |  |
BTW my time was 1:40 - a PB!
 |  |
DEB - DEB...your back with your great jokes. I was laughing so hard at the older couple, the Rose and the restaurant, my wife asked what it was about. I read it too her and while laughing we started to cry since we seem to be getting to that state ourselves.
LK, what was my wife's name, I seem to remember is was like yours. LOL

Dave, Gee wiz I'm doing my very best. It's my sports background football, wrestling, and lacrosse. Now and than I even pull off some Tiger tantrums when playing golf. But I appreciate your encouragement. You live in the great NW which is so laid back, I'm from Phila. which is next to Jeeersey. Kapish.

Wendy. You mean one hour and 40 minutes, right?

Interesting that you can crack jokes about the Christian religion without receiving death threats.

This site is great. Still a little slow on the puzzles, but love the jokes (Deb from Brisbane - LEGEND!!)and the way you take interest in each other. Keep it up. 24 degrees in Hobart, muggy and a little uncomfortable.

Hi ED - My parents were from Philly and I had an aunt and uncle who lived in Philly their whole lives and I remember as a kid going to visit them from Buffalo and Toledo where I lived my first 12 years of life. I think I am about your age (62...or was that a joke last night?), so you can imagine how long ago that was.

My husband has to have a colonoscopy tomorrow because his mom had colon cancer. Those of you who don't know: it is one of the cancers that is both highly treatable if caught early, and does tend to run in families. Get checked! It's unpleasant -- especially the prep! -- but only needs to be done every 5 years.

I realize you posted some time ago, but your comment made me wonder if you were seeking the word 'whirl-i-gig' for those windmill/windchimes?
 |  |
I hate them.
