Horray, me. And lucky everyone else because post 40 was about my personal experiences with socks. S-O-C-K-S. Probably nothing that would interest most people.

Come to think of it, I don't know many people who would want details on my personal experience with ... well, you know.

I used to know all the answers to Greg's quiz. I have not had time to do them properly this time but I even went looking for some I remembered!

I am still stuck on 33. I have all the others.

Plum, I used to get those bad cracks after summers of wearing zoris (flip flops). Now I use those pedicure sanders or scrapers, whatever once a week and have smooth heels again because I'm not about to give up on zoris and sandals!

I am going to bed having finished Greg's quiz but not entering as this tired old grandma resorted to help. Good-night all and thanks Greg .

I have never been to Alberta, Canada, but I would like to visit it someday.

Plum, I also have cracked heels. I use a ped egg and it made a big difference. Also, Avon's cracked heel cream works wonders. I will have to try Keds socks. I am always looking for comfy socks.

I heated up some pasta in the microwave, but I'm a little afraid to take it out - I warmed up some yesterday and when I went to take it to the table it jumped out of my hand - landed on the floor and just blew up all over the kitchen. I had pasta everywhere, there didn't seem to be that much in the bowl -- but man, it went flying -- well, here I go......

safety eatting my pasta, brownies cooling on the cookie sheet -- all is well with the world today. Got to ride my bike to work - always a good day, but what's really nice, I have the house to myself for the first time in over a week. Got some flowers to plant, but I'm free right now.

Well, the sock debate has not taken hold, which I cannot understand.

How about this: How many sudokuists does it take to install a light bulb?
18/May/09 8:53 AM
 |  |

Well, I have one completely correct answer to the quiz so far, from Anne and Ian, Sydney, Australia. Well done youngsters! Sorry Tami, but try again on number 33. I will not post all the answers for two more days to give all those working at this a chance. Mo, send your answers to me.
18/May/09 9:13 AM
 |  |

Finally finished Greg's quiz! It is absolutely amazing how they pop into your mind if you leave it for awhile and come back. It will take quite awhile to send all the answers.
Tami, my husband came up with #33 without even thinking about it. The bum. But I did all the others

Sorry, Glinda, but I am adding to the crack feet discussion. BTW, it is clothes optional season here now, so no socks.
I learned by accident. When the girl was born someone gave me some booby cream (can I say that?)Anyway, never used it for intended purpose, but I did use it on my feet. The were so smooth and no icky heels.

"How many sudokuists does it take to install a light bulb?"

Hmmm....thinking about it....

18/May/09 9:40 AM

Well done Kathy and hubby (Maryland). The second fully correct answer!
18/May/09 9:51 AM

Hey! Hubby got one lousy answer!
His brain is still functioning. Mine is fried.
18/May/09 9:53 AM

It might be a very large number...

Dear Glinda
I think you should contact the Tasmanian Fox Eradication Taskforce. There were several unsubstantiated sightings of foxes on our supposed fox free island some years ago. The government responded by establishing the FET which costs millions a year and we still have no concrete evidence they are on the island.
18/May/09 9:56 AM
 |  |
It doesn't require any sudokists as they are bright enough without illumination.
18/May/09 9:59 AM
 |  |

Glinda, why would change a light bulb? Are you changing it for a heavy bulb? How heavy will this bulb be? This could affect the number of sudokuists required to assist you.
18/May/09 9:59 AM
 |  |

One, certainly, to be to first to post that the lightbulb is out.

18/May/09 9:59 AM

Is 66 the devil's number?

Another to post five times in a row that the light is out...

18/May/09 10:02 AM

The light is out.

The light is out
18/May/09 10:06 AM
 |  |

Good onya, saylz.

Of course, we need another to whinge to Gath that the light is out...

18/May/09 10:07 AM
 |  |
Well that ensures that I can't do it five times in a row.
18/May/09 10:08 AM
 |  |

Sorry about that, saylz...

But we need to find someone to that the light has been out for exactly two hours...

go ahead...

18/May/09 10:10 AM
 |  |

Must be the light that went out in Georgia, and caused all the lights to go out. They had to check every one individually, like the old Christmas tree strings. I don't think anyone noticed initially that the light was out there either.
18/May/09 10:11 AM
 |  |

And, of course, someone has to have faith that the light will come back on when a new page is turned...

18/May/09 10:16 AM

I've still got the Vicki Lawrence single of that song. Does anyone else remember the Carol Burnett Show.
18/May/09 10:18 AM
 |  |

And someone has to take up a half page wishing the lightbulb a happy birthday...

18/May/09 10:18 AM
 |  |
And Jim has to extract the cat from the light socket while on Jupiter. Perhaps he could use the repaired Hubble telescope.
