You've been beaten to the turn of day a bit lately. Good to see you out of bed early.
Back for a warm up now?

It tells you how many hours and How many seconds you have been alive on this earth and when You were probably conceived, and other amazing facts.
How cool is that?

Those (??- not saying how many here, lol) candles produce 47 BTUs,
or 11,844 calories of heat (that's only 11.8440 food Calories!) .
You can boil 5.37 US ounces of water with that many candles

My family returns today. Have enjoyed the weekend peacefulness. I was able to accomplish some things, watch a movie all the way through, read a magazine article and go to the restroom without interruption. It was heaven.

How young you are Angie, my candles will produce 63 BTU

Oh Glinda--I live out in no-wheres-ville--who will know if I have them on or not?
19/Jan/09 1:35 AM

Well done Karen, now go put those pants back on before you catch a chill
19/Jan/09 1:37 AM

Just to put your minds at easy, I have my comfy baggy warm up on. I would hate for people to sit around wondering if they are talking to a person with no pants on.

I can remember the days on this site when Friday was designated Naked Sudoku Day. It made wonderful mental pictures of people around the world sitting in front of their computers........

Oh GannieMo what an image. I try not to imagine people in undress. Though I do have different voices in my head for each of you.

Or is that just voices in my head.
BTW how are you doing since you ate you last chocolate?
19/Jan/09 1:51 AM
 |  |

Thank you for asking I am in deep withdrawal.
19/Jan/09 2:02 AM
 |  |

I just read back up the page and I see Glinda mentioned pancakes... all the shops here are full of the ingredients for the Fetes des Crepes, maybe a pancake or two will help my withdrawal symptoms but I have no chocolate spread. It will have to be lemon juice and sugar, can't even use Grand Marnier.
19/Jan/09 2:07 AM
 |  |

I could spread them with butter whilst they are hot.
19/Jan/09 2:08 AM
 |  |

Or maybe mashed banana with sugar and cream?
19/Jan/09 2:10 AM
 |  |

Oh food sounds so good. Food has been the downside of not having my family home this weekend. Crepes sound really good.
19/Jan/09 2:12 AM
 |  |

Any ideas? Glinda which confection do you prefer?
19/Jan/09 2:12 AM
 |  |

Strawberries with powdered sugar or whipping cream sounds good.

Karen, I know the joys of having the house to yourself -- my man has returned to work today after staying home ALL WEEK -- I can now get back to my regular schedule, now to just get that sleeping boy out of here -- gotta love 'em

Hi, GM. I suggest maple syrup, if you can get your hands on the real thing. I also sometimes fold fruit (fresh or frozen, not in any kind of syrup) right into the batter before cooking.
