Weather will be rather dicy today. It's raining at the moment and then the temps are supposed to drop to ice. Not good. My sister is supposed to visit today.

It is snowing like crazy here! It started out as rain and quickly turned to snow. I would much rather have the snow! Rain in January means ice and ice means no power, no power means no water....... Let it snow! It looks like a snow globe outside!

Have a great day everyone!

Shiela - is your cat on a special diet, or do you have to give him insulin?
He's lucky to have a mom like you!
OK friends...gotta run - going down off the mountain to do the Costco shopping with a friend and also to see "Black Swan".
Have a good day/night, all!

Hope you are right about it turning to snow (not ice), Debby! No power means no water for us, too!

Nancy Pelosi called Harry Reid into her office one day and said, "Harry, I have a plan to win back Middle America in 2012!"

"Great, but how?" asked Harry.

"We'll go to Wal-Mart, get some cheesy clothes and shoes like most Middle Americans More...

He's on insulin, Vici.
Watch out, vici! When they say "Black Swan" is rather dark, they mean it!

Lots of snow in the MLK storm. Breckenridge got 26". Sure wish TODAY was the holiday so I could hit the powder! We didn't get anything down in the cities--all the snow went to the mountains!

Perfect place for the snow because I hate to drive in it and shovel it! For skiing, it's another story.

Good afternoon all,

So cats are getting diabetes as well as humans.
There seems to be an epidemic and I don't think the establishment has necessary decided upon the right primary cause.

Personally I know of two other cats diagnosed with diabetes at the time mine was diagnosed. My sister finally chose not to treat hers because they couldn't get it under control and finally had it put down.(That and the fact that the cat bit her everytime she gave it the shot didn't help - it was More...

Rayray, had great news from the radio people this morning about the dusting thing. Apparently, dust bunnies are an issue, enough for a study to be conducted.
We cannot keep up with the dust bunnies, because there is twice as much dust bunnies, than there was, I think they said, 100 years ago. That is why we cannot keep up with them. I did not snope this information, because I like this excuse.

Today is just a blank square day, Plum. The third blank square day this month.

Today, would be a great day to gather all the dust bunnies together, since it is damp and they would flutter around and attack when disturbed. But I am following in a wise man's footsteps and sitting here until that horrible urge passes.

Thanks to Phantom, for showing some concern about my coughing fits. I guess we are in a different phase now. Thing I and I are fine during the day, the sun goes down and the coughing starts, then when we go to bed all heck starts up. Of course, this happens when you find the prefect comfy More...
