Jane - BURN BOOKS!?!?!? As an avid reader, that makes me shudder (even if they are textbooks!). Actually, I have a lot of old books that will be offered to my colleagues and probably taken to the dumpster.

GannieMo - I think it is actually my lack of sufficient sleep - all nervous energy.
Keith, I am really looking forward to the sleeping in. I may have to shoot for #122!
Now off to run a couple of errands before the kids are back.

2:18 Hi to all.

Thought for the Day:

To get the factorial number of all the different arrangements of all the letters of the alphabet (no repetition) allowing two arrangements per minute, how long would it take to write all the different arrangements, presuming you worked on it for More...

It is quite a largish thought admittedly but I have eaten my breakfast and replenished my one and only brain cell, and it is firing on all cylinders, albeit small cylinders. Make that one cylinder. Thanking you in advance for help with my 'homework'.

I have had a full inbox with answers to the quiz. Additional correct responses from Linda (Pioneer) and Mo/Steve. A number of people have asked if #33 is a typo, and the answer is NO, 10 is the right number. That one was sent to me by Plum. I will post all of the correct answers tomorrow as promised.

No Glinda, sadly it is an exam question and as such all persons have to remain in the exam room until the time alloted for the exam has expired. (Much as I might do when I have worked it out for myself so to speak). You may, however, chew your pencil rubber if that gives you some respite. Don't drink the ink from your pen as that is a tad stainy on the upper lips.

André, which alphabet are people expected to use, the English alphabet? Chinese? Arabic? Greek? Will you be providing a copy of the appropriate alphabet to those who don't know it?
