We have some summery weather in the forecast today. Just a little taste before the temp drops back to spring. But the warmer temps may help take the chill out of the ground so the plants can try to catch up a little with the calendar.

We are heading into some hot temps, too. Today is gorgeous, 75°, but the heat is coming. It's supposed to hit 90° in the next few days. It will be time to crank up the AC.
We pretty much went from winter to summer.

We had one of these growing and flowering in our back garden when we first moved here 30 years ago. I must over over-watered it because it died soon after. They are very impressive flowers.

The weather has gone from fine and warm to cold and wet overnight. From walking around in shorts and T shirt I am now scurrying to find a warm jacket. At least its too wet to go out and wash the car.
