After consultation with Wombat, I offer corrections to the current 3&4 that might help those who have yet to solve it. The clue of a western Russian river should be a western Russian city on a well-known river. Also, there is a typo among the word endings in Column E, where a final P should be a D. I encourage more folks to meet the challenges Wombat offers us - they are fun and clever. 20/Aug/18 12:13 AM |  |

 Somewhere it 77*F, going to 87, followed by a forcast 53 low. Doesn't get much better.......... 20/Aug/18 5:53 AM |  |
Good mAen, good people. I've just been to a family reunion for my husband's father's side. I don't dislike the people but I don't do anything else with them but eat a potluck once a year (unless there is a funeral and there have been too many of those). Still, my husband's grandmother, God More... 20/Aug/18 6:13 AM |  |
It's nice to have family reunions, and big weddings. Otherwise, relatives see each other only at funerals. This makes me think I ought to organize a family reunion or two or three - except for weddings, there haven't been any among any of my relatives since our grandparents' generation died. 20/Aug/18 9:02 AM |  |
My family is quite small as well, Plum. Our annual beach house get together just got done. Another good year. 20/Aug/18 9:12 AM |  |
 Twitch ... twitch. Looking around for Peter. 20/Aug/18 9:13 AM |  |

Social media helps a lot. TOS is very good for keeping track of what's going on with extended family. Burl keeps up with his side of the family really well with it and they with him. I keep my friends list lean and don't even go there very much. I get alerts for the few very important people in my life and that's enough for me. 20/Aug/18 9:17 AM |  |
Took you long enough, Keith. I went and had a nap then watched a few videos waiting for the 22 report. 20/Aug/18 9:19 AM |  |
After I was only the 4th post 2½ hours in, I had no idea when I should come back to try for 22. Seems I either guessed right, or nobody else wanted it. I like the one that makes me look like I'm right. I guess the 3rd option would be all those wonderful people that graciously backed away to let me have it. Plum, et. all, thanks for your generosity. 20/Aug/18 9:34 AM |  |
I'm here Keith. Albeit nearly an hour late. Been down the beach taking a walk with Tara......icy cold this morning. 20/Aug/18 10:10 AM |  |
Well, Keith, as you know, I'm not always this generous. Today I was just more inclined to a nap than crafting a clever cp to take me to 22. Laziness. That's your fourth option, Keith. And, by the way, you look just fine whenever you post. You are very generous in adding humor or acknowledgement when someone else seizes the spot. 20/Aug/18 10:27 AM |  |
Sarah, I hope you do organize at least one family reunion. I don't know what your family dynamics are, but I have sent you some ideas that work for gatherings here in the heartland. 20/Aug/18 10:29 AM |  |
 1:55 Seemed a lot slower. 20/Aug/18 12:57 PM |  |
1:41, this stoopid computer is playing up big time. Good afternoon everyone. 20/Aug/18 1:38 PM |  |
 A quick hello & good night as I head off to bed 20/Aug/18 1:51 PM |  |
Computer problems seem to abound. If we know anything about the history of the motor car, we will hope that there will be a similar trend for computers in terms of reliability, desirable features and cost. 20/Aug/18 1:54 PM |  |
But I guess I'll have to console myself with a Victoria Bitter until that time comes. 20/Aug/18 1:57 PM |  |
Sorry Wombat, didn't get to do your poozle, it's Bill's fault ,we went shopping and then took his sister with us for a club lunch. 20/Aug/18 7:36 PM |  |
all. We have just returned from my hubby's brother's 40th anniversary party. Lots of fun and memories shared. We met some of the younger outlaws for the first time. I didn't spend my usual afternoon with Wombat doing the poozle, but I will send it in More... 20/Aug/18 11:42 PM |  |

My internet is moving more slowly than I am. And I'm sitting in the recliner. So I don't think I'll be able to get to page 2 or defend this LPOTD if challenged. 20/Aug/18 11:59 PM |  |
