Thx for the reminder, June. I might get phone calls from my daughters sometime today ... we'll see. Other than that, for me, it's just another day.

Good afternoon to all! Nal's picture almost looks like a surrealistic scene from a Matrix movie.

Sigh. With mixed feelings. This morning I put my brother on a train to Fort Worth. Something neither one of us, unless you count the Polar Express for me or the run away train from an amusement park. I never expected the conductor to yell, 'All aboard,' thought that was only on television, in the old movies.

After 19 days on my couch the bro needed to go. He did do some things around the house, like weeded a few flower gardens and I do like he mows the lawn. He is a one direction mower. The rest of the time he was either zoned into the television or his smart phone, which went off continuously.

Happy Father's Day to all celebrating, and may good memories fill the hearts of those missing their own fathers.

Silverguy and I don't 'celebrate' much for either Mother's Day or Father's Day. My birthday is usually within 4 days to a week of Mother's Day, and his birthday sometimes falls ON Father's Day. We decided early on in parentdom not to burden the other with trying to find yet another gift.

It's cards and cards alone, and we've already let Silverteen know we would not expect Respective Parental Day gifts from her when she's on her own... cards or phone calls will be fine.

We should celebrate our Mums and Dads every day, whether they are still with us or watching over us.

Where's Keith?

For the celebration today, I thought I would look nice, since I am the reason he gets to celebrate today. Yes, I sure he had something to do with it, but I would rather not discuss that part. Anyway, brought out the lotions and potions this morning and worked on hair, instead of a clip. After More...

I do not care much for being told when to celebrate, Man on the other hand is milking this day. The girls came home with bags of his way of saying, 'Thank you for letting me be a father.' Both of us are still so amazed, that we have our little darlings, we celebrate every day.

A few weeks ago the girls and I were on a card aisle and they wanted to get Daddy a card. I do not care to give or receive cards, though thankful for the thought, I feel guilty about throwing the cards away, because I do not want to put them away somewhere.

Anyway, the girls picked out two More...

Guess I should go find something for lunch, since my lunch plans have changed and dinner seems like it will be a long time in coming, since Man is taking a nap and there was a promise of going kayaking today, though looking out the window the weather may change those plans.

If Chris is running, he'll have to run fast in order to warm up.

Mind you, it's a work day, so Chris is probably not running.

We had a fun evening, since afternoon plans did not go through, even though the rain went through and sunshine came beaming out, there was no kayaking. Girls gave Man his shirts and shorts and homemade cards, along with Pina Colada cupcakes. Then out to dinner to oldest girl's favorite Chinese place. Think I am just going to buy her a box of fortune cookies, since that is all it seems she ate.

Afterwards we went out to the lake parks, where we learned whether weather permitted we would not have been able to go kayaking. The lake was closed due to high waters.

Then we came home and sprayed, what seemed like just Mom, with silly string. Though the little darlings did not realize Mom was armed with two cans of silly string. Then I was surprised when Daddy brought out the water guns for the coldest water fight ever recorded in June, in Texas.
Now the girl's are wrapped up like Eskimos enjoying cupcakes.

I really want to yell, 'Bedtime,' but the only one that would listen to me is Man.
