the wedding was between André and Trevene, at the time when it was assumed André was a bloke! The hen party was in the Pyrenees and the Chippendales were guests of honour. They trashed my place something terrible at the time and made an awful mess, but it was the first 'party' we had, and gave birth to many friendships. Most of all it was a laugh!

the list sounds interesting Kathy. Off the top of my head I remember K from Brissie being on the site before me, and André, Col, and Rose arriving around the same time as myself. And we're still here! There are a couple of others who pop in from time to time too.

Caligirl, your grandma sounds a lot like my Mom did; she used to say "somehow, I can't walk as fast as I used to." I'll drink a toast to your grandma tonight--give her a big hug for me and tell her I'm cheering her on. What a terrific lady she must be.

GannieMo - just took a look at Houpette's picture. She's the friskiest looking 15 year old dog I have ever seen!! She's darling. All those walks must do her a lot of good - you've obviously taken excellent care of her all these years. What a good mom!
