G'day mates. Here's today's daffynition:
stick — A boomerang that doesn’t come back.

...and here's today's factoid:
In 1975,some boomerangs were discovered in South Australia. They are estimated to be 10,000 years old. Boomerangs were also found in King Tutankhamen's tomb (1371 - 1325 BC) in excellent condition. Some of them were capped with gold.

There is far more than 'red clay' behind the lack of basements in that part of Oklahoma. Cost cutting, primarily, and lack of building codes.

I certainly hope that isn't permanent magic marker!
Even if it's washable, clean-up must take quite awhile after a game.

But Greg, isn't the abbreviation for Alberta AB? That's what caused me all the problems on that one!
I couldn't understand how beheading AB would produce a Paul Simon song. I think too much.

Day three of a nasty flu bug--run fast, run far ... you don't want this.
And no, the bathrooms aren't done. Faucet holes for counter were drilled so that we can't use our cross handle taps now--no room to get our hands around the handles without smashing into the backsplash. Not our expense, but gosh, more waiting while a solution is found. Grrr.

Good Maen, good people. MORE stuff has come up today. I mean, this week was full enough, but now have extra errands to do. I lost the better part of my day as soon as it began, so I thought to myself 'why not add a little Sudokuland in, too?'

Fatalistic about those Friday deadline, I More...
