Hi
Wow thank you all so much for your prayers and concern. We will be fine, strong faith, good family ties. It is just hard now, we need time.
Your words mean a lot, thank you. Love, Kim

We have all been in the pool today, even though it rained---we have been getting a lot of rain. It was fun but it is a lot quieter when it is just my husband and me. The boys like to splash and be crazy. I have one cat that likes the pool but I really don't want him in it. The dog drinks out of it, the horses avoid it like it was a monster from outer space.

Senior's marriage

A senior citizen said to his eighty-year old buddy:
"So I hear you're getting married?"
"Yep!"
"Do I know her?"
"Nope!"
"This woman, is she good looking?"
"Not really."
"Is she a good More...

Kim - I have something similar to a white board, a Sympodium. I don't work directly on the board, but work on a 19-inch monitor that is attached directly to the projector. It is REALLY nice. I have GREAT kids this year, but not great math students. We got new books, so I am trying to put all my More...

Ok, I'm back from my match, and my team, the Guardian Angles won 2 to 1!!! (Unfortunately, my partner and I lost our match, we won both the men's doubles matches.) This is just the third time I've played since May because of my hand injury, so my game is not up to par! Oh well, onward and upward!

Jim - my thoughts and prayers are with you. It took me a long time to get over my Mother's unexpected death. I didn't have the support from around the world that you have, but I expect you will miss her as much.

Hi Jamie! Like you I'm back in the classroom. Got two sets of cute third graders. The usual fun, those who need to learn how to pay attention and those who need help in organization. Most of the parents are great in this year an added bonus. But lots of assessments, not just paper work but a lot of interviews on their thinking process.

Ooooh, forgot to mention my new toy - a document reader! A sort of camera that allows me to show a book, my writings, the computer monitor, anything I can put on a surface under the camera and project it on the wall! Science demos are soooo easy and gives the kids what they should be seeing in their projects.

Mary, while you're planting your garden, I've been "unplanting" my balcony. It still feels like summer here, but autumn weather is just around the corner and I have a lot of containers to empty before the weather gets bad.

Shosho: I really approve of your idea of the document reader. We used to have overhead projectors, but you need celluloid preparations for that. I used to have an ancient Leica camera with a special four-pronged attachment for copying documents - but it was slow to prepare things - in black & white reversal for use with a slide projector.

Lovely Ladies! What Country do they represent?

Jim - I am very sorry to hear about your mom. You will be in my prayers.

Mamacita - I am sorry to hear about your husband. When is the surgery scheduled? I pray that all will go well. They do such wonders with this back surgery today. They have really improved things over the years.

Good Evening everyone.
Mamacita: So sorry to hear about Sully. Was this something sudden? I have confidence that the Lord will guide the surgeon's hands, and Sully will be just fine. I will keep you both in my prayers, and, since Rob isn't around, I will start lighting the candles: one for More...
