Yep - I'm off to the dawn service in Darwin... Mind you I'm off to the airport at 1.30am to pick up some friends ... so it doesn't look like a whole lot of sleep for me tonight. He got taken to hospital in Rouen. Google maps puts the journey at just under 3 hours today... back then it'd have been a pretty long haul. Check out this link. http://www.ww1battlefields.co.uk/flanders.html

Some of the pictures paint a horrific picture of what life was like in the trenches.

Albany plays a part in the ANZAC history because the ships that sailed to Gallipoli and the Middle East gathered in King George Sound in Albany before leaving on their way to war. Albany was the last sight of Australian soil for the many troops that did not return.

2:13 Butterscotch is adorable. I'd love a rabbit, but with three cats, I don't think the mix would work out.

We went through the college selection last year, so I can empathize with you. At my Daughter's school, she is in the field hockey club. She is able to play for the love of the game and not worry about making the team. At the school where he'd ride the bench, do they have a soccer More...
