I noticed the fun anagrams while reading some of yesterday's posts. (I'll never get caught up on 2 missed weeks, so won't try.)
I have a couple of favorite anagram sites. Try anagramming your Sudokuland name or your real world name -- add in middle names, too, for more options. It's amazing how More...

and, no, I didn't need to use one of these sites to turn Plum into Lump -- I use these sites for word games and people's names - which can be fun on a birthday card i.e., A Videoed Toffy-Fin Hits Joy! - or- Jiff Devised a Nifty Hoot-Yo! anagrammed out becomes John Doe is Fifty-five Today!

I'm not SLAtlas, so I can't carry the weight of Sudoku Land on my shoulders. Gonna go take Little Lump - who may or may not have a broken bone in her foot, by the way -- to the pool.

Betty - sorry to hear about your companion. There are treatment options as I learned when one of our "kids" developed cancer. Take care

Did you ever wonder why there are no dead penguins
on the ice in Antarctica - where do they go?

Wonder no more!!!

It is a known fact that the penguin is a very ritualistic bird
whichlives an extremely ordered and complex life.

The penguin is very committed to its More...

everyone, we are having a heat alert for 4 days, people have been advised to stay inside if possible. The temp has been above 95F but closer to 100F the last 2 days. High for yesterday was 102F about 39C, it is 97F or 36C at the moment.

Good afternoon to all! I wonder how long the Isle of Sylt will survive as it is slowly but surely being swallowed by the ocean due to erosion.

A woman was at work when she received a phone call that her daughter was very sick with a fever. She left her work and stopped by the pharmacy to get some medication for her daughter.

Not a lot happening here tonight - was yesterday's excitement a bit too much for you all? Lots of correct answers in the Wimbledon inbox though - just waving my little Scotish flag for Murray! What do our resident tennis players think of his chances this year?

so busy waving that ScoTtish flag, I forgot the T! Dear oh dear. Shocking.

Sorry Fiona, I know nothing about tennis.
I am however a very proud Queenslander this morning (with a slightly sore head). I arrived home from my meeting about 10 minutes after the game started and Queensland were well ahead. We did have to hang in there towards the end but that will make game 3 (the dead rubber) even more exciting.

Hello, Wagdy.
Colo Jim - I believe one of my legs has been sufficiently pulled that it is now about a penguin's tale longer than the other.
The sheep video sounds surrealistic. Sorry I can't load YouTubes unless I'm willing to do without internet for 2 days as "punishment" for exceeding the amount of service in my ISP contract.

Hello Sudokuland! Just got off the phone with Karen. Mom and baby seem to be doing well. Mom has a sore behind from sitting in bed. Baby would prefer to sleep in momma's arms instead of the baby bed. They hope to be home tomorrow.

Woo hoo for Karen! Hope she'll be able to let us know soon! The suspense is killing me. Just like it did when you suddenly "disappeared" and returned as two!

Well I shall be be flying back east next Monday. Sorry if I hadn't contacted anyone there, but my plans are still up in the air. I wish they'd cooperate and fly a little lower so I can catch them! All dependent on my son and hubby. I shall experience drugging and dragging the man aboard the plane. Every time I plan something he has to put his two cents in and there goes my plan!

SENIOR MOMENT
R-Rated
There is more money being spent on breast implants and Viagra than on Alzheimer's research.

This means that by 2020, there should be a large elderly population with perky boobs and huge erections and absolutely no recollection of what to do with them.

Perky boobs?? Is that cheerful, carefree fools? Obviously a large erection has to be the Eiffel Tower. Why was that R-Rated Baz?

Well, some people don't like perky boobs, and I can't remember what the other is!

Here's my story for the day:
While driving the kids (ages 10, 10, 7, 6) home today, we passed the bank. They were so loud when they saw that it said 100*F. That just does NOT happen around here. I think I can count on one hand the number of times it's happened since I was born (age jokes allowed) The sad thing... we don't have air conditioning so I am melting!

Thanks for the update, Jill. That's the problem with hospital beds, if you want to sit up, you're sitting on the "wrinkles" in the mattress. Can become very uncomfortable. Tell her to put a folded blanket or a pillow under her butt. It helps a little bit.

Popping in for a quick hello after a long absence. We are flying to San Francisco for conference/leisure 3rd July & then on to Las Vagas 8th July and unfortunately heading home again 10th July. Would be helpful if some of our Northern Hemisphere friends could give us an indication of weather we can expect in the two locations.
