The death penalty is a really touchy subject as they can get it so wrong sometimes. I'm glad Aust doesn't have it.

What I feel we need more of is enforcement of the smallest laws that are on the books, so that all will know that all laws are meant to be followed in a law abiding country. 2:01 - I agree Jodi it's a very touchy subject. Not so many 'innocent' convictions these days due to the introduction of forensic science and evidence analysis for DNA 10 years ago - still nothing is perfect.

Baz, Dooley? Nice. 'not sure if you're familiar, but I enjoy Jan Karon's novels. In her Mitford Series, she develops an interesting young character named Dooley. I think you'd like him!

As comedian Ron White of Texas said, 'Some states are dropping the death penalty, mine's putting in an express lane.' There are a lot of convicts on death row, thankfully as has been stated above, the new DNA evidence will be able to tell who really should be there and who shouldn't. A very sensitive subject but there are animals out there that deserve the death penalty.

I believe there is a play now about the subject of incorrectly convicted death row inmates. I havent seen it but wanted to, and i think there is a film in the works too? Is is called Exhonorated. My two cents worth: philosophically I am opposed to the death penalty, but personally, if someone hurt my child, I would feel like killing the perpetrator myself.

Thank you, Rosemary. Ultra sound showed the baby not growing as it should (showed it was the size of a 17week) so I am to have another in 2 weeks to check on its growth. Not as reassuring as it could have been. Otherwise it does have all its fingers and toes and brains!

I am sure that the baby will progress well and all will be okay. I guess they all grow at slightly different rates and maybe dates not quite right. All the bits and pieces in the right place is the main thing and make sure you eat healthy and get lots of rest. as jodi said dont forget to let us know how you go in 2 weeks time as we will be thinking of you and how you are going.
