Jamie, I wisely decided that I was not going to ruin my Thanksgiving with grading test papers so I didn't give any tests on Wednesday. I'm trying like the dickens to get all of the science projects in and graded before Winter break! Like Rayray's flaming offering I shall shoot out of school without any papers to correct!

Florida Kathy:
No. I have never need to Peru - nor even South America. My poem was based entirely on Anne's picture. Her composition and the scenery, inspired it. I am wondering whether Anne thinks I hit any nails on the head with the poem. If she thinks I did, then that it was a success.

We went to our first Christmas Party yesterday afternoon in a local park. Run by the developers of this small semi-rural estate and the local Christian Community. The many rides and activities for the children were free as were the apple slinkies, fairy floss and snow cones. The only cost More...

Jamie - Math tests are the best objective tests - like fill in the blank. Long division, multiplication, addition & subtraction - that I remember well - because I learned it & still use them. However, signs, co-signs, effiecents, mantissa - totally forgoten. Do remember pi, diameters, More...

Morning. I'll refrain from CPing again - promise! That IS a great photo, Anne, and as for many of the others makes me want to go and see it myself. RayRay's poems were also good - though I was a bit squeamish after the first one. Jane's retort poems were funny too. See you all later!

CynB - OK - two of the wise men were your husband and son-in-law - who was the third?

They must be wise - they put up the lights didn't they?

EVE: It's taken my husband nearly 4 weeks in his spare time and he's done a great job. I'm proud of his effort and our grand kids and the neighbourhood kids love it. I congratulate him and thank my son-in-law for his last minute help.

Hey, folks - I've gotten a couple of requests for my recipe for Cinnamon-Roasted Chicken with Harissa Sauce - so I've posted it on the Recipes page. This is NOT one of my low-fat specialties, but it is one of my favorite "splurge" meals.

Harry, getting old, finds he cannot perform... So an American Indian Medicine Man casts a spell on him and tells him to say "123" when the
