ah, nice to be back after a few days off - it seems a lot has happened and you're all getting ready for a wedding - I was at one on Monday so can give up to the minute advice!

What's with the little blue question mark in the middle square? And no picture?

3.58 Goodnight everyone.

I heard the east coast got heavy snow!! You are soooo lucky. I love snow. We had such a drought this past summer and the trees weren't as brilliant in the colors. Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!!

Rosemary, couldn't agree more re James Patterson, although lately 'his' novels (written with another writer) can be a bit tedious and predictable - how disappointing considering how excellent ones like 'When the Wind Blows' are! Also LOVED the LOTR and narnia books.

anyone get a picture?
 |  |
Houston, we have a problem.

Any news of Jim?
 |  |
only 5:49, but I was interrrupted for at least a minute and didn't get the chance to 'pause' the timer. What concerns me is that I'm not getting faster, as the rest of you seem to be doing. Aarrghh!

No picture today, huh? Very cold here at 9:17 a.m.Where is Sara? Kick that boyfriend to the curb and find someone who values your company.Thirty years ago I dumped a guy I'd dated for 2 years because he couldn't keep his mitts off the other girls. Today, the wife of that same guy divorced him More...

3:08 awful time and no picture! This is what I get for putting Liam down for a nap. He is doing really well - putting on weight quite quickly and getting the hang of prolonged sleeps through the night. We had a 4 1/2 hour stretch last night, followed by a 3 1/2 hour stretch. I feel positively rested this morning.

3:34 no pic :((

Hi all..back from my exhausting four day weekend with two of our grandsons (21months and 3) We have had such a great time...can't believe how tired you can be at the end of the day though!! lol. Second day in a row that there has been no pic!!
 |  |
hi jess
not picture today that would bug me (it was a hard one too)
love marie

Are we still on the book kick? Re yesterday; LOVE Dick Francis - he's like a literary fatty snack - no good for you, but immensely pleasurable nonetheless. Have read a couple of James Patterson, but can't get into them. A really neat mind-twisty author (I hesitate to say sci-fi) is Christopher Priest. Really very different and worth the investment of a couple of hours.

What? No picture?!
Ken Follett, David Baldacci, Dan Brown, Patricia Cornwell, Nelson DeMill, Kathy Reichs, John Sandford for pure entertainment. For something a little deeper - John Steinbeck, James Hilton. Other good reads: 'Pope Joan' by Donna Cross, 'Year off Wonders' - Beraldine Brooks.
 |  |
Ewwww, 6:49...thats what I get for being out of practice! Gotta work to pay the bills though! :)
 |  |
Tom Clancy, anyone?
 |  |
hi all. What a shame..no pic. Never mind..better luck tomorrow
 |  |
Welcome Goose!!! Lisa glad to hear all is well in the homefront. Can't wait to see a picture of Liam.
 |  |
LP: don't you find Patricia Cornwell and Kathy Reichs start getting a little repetitive? Just read the latest Reichs and must confess to being a little bit bored. Did you watch 'Bones' that was supposed to be 'loosely' based on her real life adventures? It disappeared from our local station, so that might not bode well for it's future.

Totally agree with Judy from Illinois.
 |  |
Hey Ali from A! Chicago is like 2 1/2 hours from me. I'm just south of Peoria. Shopping trip huh!? Would that be for Christmas? You know there are only 60 shopping days left!! We just found out last night that our daughter, who was going to be married in May next year, has to change the date to New More...
 |  |
Hi Lisa - great to hear that Liam is doing so well and giving you a few hours sleep at a time. Have you got that Post Box yet, or perhaps can you temporarily use a friend's or relative's so that we can send you all greetings from around the world? off to bed now.....'night everyone
 |  |
