MizTricia - you are so right about Moon Pies and RC Cola! I don't know what I was thinking. But then, again, I've only been living in the South for 29 years and haven't had time to absorb all the culture. By the way, on one of my calling cards (can't call them business cards any more since I'm More...

1:54 Quick, but not quick enough to catch some of you. Humid, overcast day here, after a heck of a storm last night. The weeds are now a lovely shade of green again.

We are still in the throes of summer here. But the annual migration of the fritillary butterflies is in full swing. My favorite beach seems to be directly on their migratory path, so I spend lots of time observing the lovely creatures. I don't know where the name fritillary comes from (too lazy More...

Dave - I'm glad others share that problem. I often turn on the computer to research something, but first I do my e-mail, then I have to take a peek at what's happening in Sudokuland, and then before you know it, I've put the computer to sleep and gone on to do something else (like yardwork or cooking) forgetting entirely why I sat down at the computer in the first place!

Celebrations are at full swing Helena..too much of a hype me feel.but may be worth..the players were given royal welcome and taken in an open bus from the airport to stadium where they were felicitated by the Govt officials.A spectacular function indeed.
