Good Morning Worldly People.

Good Maen all! Very clever shot, Sue!

I finally did it! I think labor was easier than this, but that statement can be debateable.

Anyway, there is one picture of Morgan in my gallary. It is an old picture, she is not even 30 minutes old here.

Adorable little Morgan!

I have been out weeding this morning -- only 85F right now. I can't stand the weeds anymore, but the battle will be colossal. If there is anyone out there that enjoys weeding, you are more than welcome to get your fix in our garden. As a bonus, an adorable little boy will make faces and generally entertain you.

What?!?! Karen, you got up and took a pic? I was lucky to be conscious in 30 minutes. They did say I smiled but that must have been that I was soooo anesthetized!

Eri - too hot to garden here today. Supposed to be 102 degrees. Of course, the weather's not going to prevent us from biking to the beach for a swim!!!

Karen - love the picture of Morgan Kasey! She is adorable!

Oh, no Shosho. I was out for most of the day. Hubby had camera duty. Even when I woke up I don't think I was in this world. They gave me my favorite drug.

Thank you ladies for your wonderful ooohs and aaahhhs of my little girl.
We are still in amazement from the first one and now our hearts are bursting with the second one.

Oh, Jane, I'm jealous you live so close to the beach. I've been itching to visit a beach lately.

Karen, old is a relative term hehehe, how old can a photograph be when you are talking about a newborn? She is just as cute as she can be!

Eri,
I live only about 200 metres from a beach and I hardly ever go there.
I like my conservatory better. That's a good thing because it pins one down maintaining it.
28/Jun/09 1:09 AM
 |  |

[What I mean is - it's a good thing I like the conservatory - not a good thing it pins me down]

Eri - We're not as close to the beach as I'd like. It's 5 miles each way to our favorite one (4.5 miles to the closest one). Although, when hurricane season is in full swing, I'm very happy where we're located!!!

Rayray - I didn't realize how close you were to the water. Do you have a water view from your property?
28/Jun/09 1:12 AM
 |  |

Rayray, it is often the things we like best that need upkeep and work to maintain. I wonder how much more we would like them if there were no work involved? Or would we take it for granted?

A guy went into a bar and ordered a double bourbon. He downed it, reached into his pocket and pulled out a photo. He put it away and ordered another double. He finished that, pulled the photo out, and looked at it agin. He repeated this over a period of about one hour. Finally the bartender's More...

Way to paddle to 22, Jane! I like the avatar.

Jane,
I live in a basement, so from place I get no views as the windows are below ground level and allow in light only from wells. However from higher up the building there are fine views of the English Channel, and on a clear day we can see the North coast of France from there.

Eri,
You have a point. I think one enjoys things according to the effort one invests in them.

Q. How can you tell when a man is a male chauvenist pig?

A. He thinks "harass is two words.

Rayray - loved the joke!

Eri - you are so right! Although it was a lot of work (and a LOT of bug bites) to put a new garden in this spring, I am enjoying the results! Maintaining it is the problem at the moment because of the intense heat. But hopefully, it will cool down a little soon.

Rayray - if you set out from your beach by kayak, and I set out from mine, how long do you think it would take us to meet up?
28/Jun/09 1:27 AM

Nice stairs. They make an interesting jigsaw.

And if Judy wanted to join us (via the Panama Canal), how long would it take her to catch up? Of course, she'd have to come down from the mountains first.

A short man walked into a bar and slipped on a pile of dog-poo near the door.
Five minyutes later a burly brickie walked in ans also slipped on the poo.
The little man said, "I just did that", whereupon the burly man knocked the short man to the floor.
