Good Morning Worldly People.

to everyone around the world.
After the long bleak winter, warm sunshine arrived last week and now rain has added a beautiful green outside our window today. Green grass, green lawn, green plants... And of course accented by my beautiful red tulips! Ahhhhh!

Continuing yesterdays mention of magnolias. I have planted a Magnolia Stellata in memory of my little star Houpette and have bought a Magnolia Royal Crown which I will plant if the rain ever stops.
I also have a dozen Laurels, 2 Weigela, 1 Lilac and numerous perenniels not to mention annuals all waiting. Also Faith, Hope and Charity await. At least I do not have to water them.

Only the 2nd time under 2 minutes.

I love pictures like this that remind one of the virtues of childlike (not childish) joy and fun that one is never too old to enjoy and share.

Good day ALL!

Maen everyone! It's a beautiful day! though I could use a little less heat EVERYWHERE. Plus, my poor computer keeps overheating (woe!) I hate putting it in my bag when it's this hot; the last thing I need is more heat around me on a day like this, and anyway, if anyone's bag is going to catch fire, it's mine.

Hope everyone has a fabulous day!

GannieMo, your garden sounds lovely!
So glad you have a little reminder of your star.
Who are Faith, Hope & Charity?

Midoriki - I could use some of that heat. I have the heaters turned up high.

All. It looks like it's going to rain any minute here.

Eric, you expressed my thoughts when I saw the pic, but I failed to get a record time as I am using a mouse and laptop I'm not used to - which keeps overheating (like Midoriko's) even though my fingers are freezing (like Dorothea's) from the downturn in temps with this rain (like GannieMo and Dave). Yet, it is my birthday (Sudoku date anyway) -- like pkp and possum.

Whew! Heidi almost ran me over. I'm gonna duck over to the other puzzle pages. Plus Little Plum has an AWANA Rave Review of all her verses to practice for tomorrow night and she thinks she needs a blanket tent to study in. I think I need to build a fire in the woodstove or else go back under the covers. Brrr.

all. Yesterday it didn't even get to 50°. Dave, I wish it would really rain and water the yard, or give me the weekend again.

Plum are you still counting? Celebrate safely.

Plum! Celebrate with gusto!
Love the cheery photograph, especially since it's pouring rain here and some cheer is definitely needed!

I have a vision of Midoriko walking along with a fire extinguisher hanging from one shoulder and a smoldering laptop bag from the other!
Speaking of smoldering, it's the third day of 90°+ here. My insane husband is out More...

Faith, Hope and Charity = it is traditional in the south to plant Cypress trees in three's. Anyone who has been to the Med will remember the tall thin cypress trees which are to be seen everywhere. I have three ready to plant.

Our weather around here has been wacky! Warm to the point of being hot last week. Back to flannel nightie weather this week. Wishing everyone a great day!

Yes, Eve, I'm still counting. It keeps my brain active to count that high. I can say "forty-something" without hardly using my toes any more. I'm sure my "loved ones" will help me out when it ceases to be forty-something anymore and becomes fifty-something.

Eve tells me to celebrate safely and Cathy tells me to celebrate with gusto. I'm betwixt and between. What to do, what to do?
29/Apr/09 2:43 AM

Plum, just celebrate you'll never be this young again.

This one is especially for Cathy's priest....

Sister Mary Ann, who worked for a home health agency, was out making her rounds visiting homebound patients when she ran out of gas. As luck would have it, an Exxon Gasoline station was just a block away.
She walked to the station to borrow a More...
