Keith, I didn't see your comment. I just looked and no that's not what I meant. I meant updated pictures and details for the people we see pictures of after completing the puzzle.

I'm now visualizing shosho running around LA in a thin top with no tights!! I may never be the same.

Oh, OK, Serena. Yes, I've wished for something similar, too. For example, once in a while, a picture of my grandson as a baby shows up on the Parent's Page. He's now 13, and taller than I am.

Oh, my. Got a jolt of deja vu from today's easy photo. Starr had a very similar dress for a portrait at almost the same age. Starr's hair was all curly and strawberry blond and she looked like Shirley Temple.

Stunning, Shiela.

Keith, how's the heart? Do we need to call 9-1-1?

Shosho, you've earned your run. Have fun.

Karen, what exactly is a Kinder cup stacking competition?

Serena and Silvergal, enjoy your Monday 'off.'

Greg, I suspect I wouldn't have been able to answer all.

Kathy/Maryland, got any cards up your sleeves? Lunch wouldn't happen to include crab cakes, would it?

HalT, how's your weather today? I have a smug friend in Savannah GA who loves posting winter temps in the 70s. Contrast that with advisories from TN and KY that claim the morning More...

Plum, you (nor many folks) would want Savannah's summer weather - hot and sticky-humid, worse than the midlands of SC. There's a couple in MIL's mountain n'hood who retired to Savannah, it'd been what they dreamed of. They lasted two years max there before heading to the mountains.

We won't be staying in the SC midlands in retirement because summers are miserable. I personally like having 4 seasons and being socked in with cold weather and occasional snow. We don't get it often enough. Further north is our destination though I doubt it'll be further north than Virginia.

Fun video, Greg! I'm familiar with the song, always thought it'd be a verbal train wreck if you mess up.

Too bad, Silvergal. Until you mentioned Virginia I was wondering if we could do a trade.

Mo, I am working on where I will be and when. I am sure we will meet at least once and maybe twice.

We have all 4 seasons here in the coastal range of Northern California, though it typically doesn't get cold enough for a lot of snow because of the marine influence. Our problem this winter (as last) is lack of rain. No doubt we'll be rationing again next summer.

Hey, Keith, I still have my running pants! If I ran with what you described, I'd scare the wildlife silly!!! I run around a Nature preserve, and we finally got the Canadian geese, Mallard ducks, and American Coots back. I'm going to check if the egrets have returned.

In today's heading bar picture, the two human statues in the background make me think this must have been taken at a Burning Man event. Anybody know for sure?

We're at MIL's in the mountains. This morning started off at 47º, was 43º by my mid morning run, and is now 38º. It's dropping as the day progresses even though the sun has been out since a bit before my run - the daily high was this morning. Making it worse is the wind which seems particularly vicious. 20-30mph with gusts up to 40. I think I've heard a few of those!

Plum, Silverguy once lived in Chicago. He has no intention of going back anywhere in that latitude again... or higher !

I do not like really cold weather, lived in Maryland for 4 years, too cold for me. The other extreme was Florida really toooo humid for me.

Just for Plum (and others 'enjoying' the northern winter.

Actually, I'd skip the hot summers, go for longer autumn and spring, and keep winter short and sharp.

DorA - like it.

Silvergal and HalT - thanks for the insight into SC conditions. I guess this is as good of a time as any for them to come north given that their lease is up on the Florida place.
