Good morning. Five correct responses to yesterday's riddle from Lonewoof, Kathy (MD), Gail, Jeb and Suzanne. The passage is quite famous actually, from the book the Great Gatsby (although I changed the name of the character and the city to make it less recognizable. The answer: the passage contains no use of the most common vowel, the letter 'e'. Cheers for now!

Fabulous picture. Thanks to those who wished us a Happy Canada Day... and it was. My little Park had about 400 young and old all came dressed in red and white, flags flying everywhere,a great parade followed by a BBQ, a band all day and games to play. Great family day.

all. The smoke is still hanging in from the fires on the border. Really enjoyed the concert last night. It attempted to rain, but water didn't make it to the ground. Next year will make 60 years of performing for BB King. For 82 years old, he still can sing & swing.

4:16 George Benson! Oh, my. That's a concert that I'd love to attend. I haven't listened to one of his albums since my cassette tapes melted in a closed car one summer. Think I need to invest in a GB CD, don't you think? I don't think my daughters know who he is. I'll chalk it up as an educational expense!
