Hope everyone survived turkey leftovers.
In a way, not a good way, I was saved the hardship of eating leftovers this year. Friday, at 4:30 in the afternoon, I endured major dental problems. I know the time, because, I thought, my dentist is not in his office, and it is 4:30 on a Friday. Monday, More...

In all my life's pains, I generally can tolerate most without too much drama, except mouth pain and feet pain. Paper cuts rank up there, but are tolerable.

In kitty news, I believe the citrus in tree works. It has been a week since I hung Lysol, citrus toilet things in tree and I have only seen the kitties in it once. They do like to take their naps under the tree, but other than that, there has been no kitty in the tree.

In the cleaning, I mopped the floors with lemon scented stuff, they avoided those rooms for a few days. It has been a week and I noticed they are wondering back into the dining room.

One kitty thought she was going to attack my cinnamon broom, she had another thought. She pounced on the broom and got a whiff and zoomed away, without the broom, and has not returned. Both avoid the broom, which for some reason been on their nap chair, for two days. They have also avoided the chair.

So, as I bring out the rest of the decoration, I will put out citrus and cinnamon smelly stuff.

Been wanting to ask, Keith, how is the new addition to the family? Does she/he have you trained, yet?

And that's how you make a run for it.

I wish I'd known about the citrus thing when we had our cat. He toppled two trees when he was young. As he got older, he mainly went for the lower branches. We solved that problem by putting only plastic ornaments within kitty More...

The lengths of the shadows are to one another as the heights of the pillars. Thus,

Length of the shadow for a pillar 21 feet tall
= (21 / 9) × 3 = 7 feet.

Time to change the avatar for a little ''festive batty-ness''

The answer to yesterday's poozle: FOUR
Each successive word is the number of letters in the previous word.

Hal and Greg figured it out. I think they deserve a somewhat ''manly'' crown.

Here's my excuse for being a day late. My modem died yesterday. Which meant I couldn't replace it using my preferred method of shopping, online. My cats have never really messed with my tress much. I don't know if they prefer real trees over fake but ours is fake so that may have something to do with it. We only have one cat now and she seldom leave the kitchen. Not a very outgoing creature.

And for today.....

Below, 9 nine letter words have been broken into chunks of three letters. These chunks have been mixed up, no chunk is used twice and all chunks are used. Can you determine what the 9 words are?

Sorry Serena, have to ruin your theory, about the trees. We have a fake tree, and before testing the citrus theory, the kitties were going wild in the tree.

In all my kitties, I have had, these two have been the only ones to go wild. I think, Busy went into the tree once, and it came crashing down, instantly, and she never went around the tree again.

I do not think I shared, that after I sent my darlings off to school, Man is now at home during the day. The contract for his previous job was not renewed, which caused much worry for a few weeks.
