I take that yellow one. My doctor gave me vitamin 'D' for leg cramps. It works.

Morning Dorthea...you realize by Sunday we'll have to be up an hour earlier to post here at the top of Page 1.

HI all! You should eat bananas, Dorthea, one a day keeps the cramps away. There's also the bar of soap in your bed at night that people on here swear works wonders.

This is plenty early enough for me!

Good morning Fiona & Keith, too!

Why would you want clean cramps, Fiona?

Slow day on the riddle yesterday - correct answer was 'darkness' and came from Sue, Greg, Plum (probably Little Plum!) and, wonders of wonders, Kathy, whose training session chez Plum et famille seems to be doing her a lot of good.

Don't you remember the soap in the bed thing on here a while back, Sheila? Can't remember who was behind it, but it was tried and tested by several members and works, it seems.

Here's today's one - answers to the 'soap on a rope in a bed' inbox please!
In each group below, I have listed four (4) unrelated words. Your job is to try and find a word that can either precede or follow each word in each group.

No, I missed that, Fiona! I'll tell hubby!

I tried the banana thing and taking potassium pill etc. They did not work.

I seem to remember you put the bar of soap in a sock, throw it down the bottom of the bed and bingo, it works! Maybe the person who suggested the remedy can correct me if I'm wrong.

Got to run - daughter requires taxi service...later.

I've never tried it, but I'll bet the brand of soap makes a difference.

Hubby has eaten enough bananas to turn into a monkey and still has cramps, Dorthea.
Think I'll try the soap. Will have to ask if the vitamin D is helping, first, though!

Sheila He gave me 2000 units of 'D'. I cut it down to 1000 units, because of an upset stomach. I may try 2000 again, because he also changed another of my meds.

Getting up an hour earlier is going to be a problem. I don't sleep well and often when I am posting I haven't been to bed at all.

Nice play, Keith.
My Father-in-law swears by the soap in the bottom of the bed trick. Haven't needed to try it yet, myself.

Dorthea, I had extremely low D levels two years ago. Doctor started me on 10,000 units a week and then cut down to 2000 once my levels went up.
Hubby started taking it when new reports suggested that most people in the northern climes were deficient in winter and the suggested level may not be high enough.

I read recently that the cause of many cramps is dehydration, so drink lots of water! Of course, then you'll be awake often at night for other reasons ...

My kids got me water bottles to put by the computer and my chair. I fill them every day and drink every drop. Now I am going to add a cup of coffee.

Ta-da. I decided Vici's beautiful wreath was too similar. Everyone knows that ladies don't like to show up at a party wearing the same dress. No one else has an avatar like this (yet).
