Interestingly, the best margarita I've ever had was on the outside deck at Latitude 31 Raw Bar on Jekyll Island. It's not even a Mexican restaurant. They also have the best peel & eat steamed shrimp in the world!!! (If you don't believe me, come on out and taste 'em yourself!!!)

The best margarita I ever had was in Mexico at a hotel bar. The bartender showed us how to make them and gave us his recipe, after he swore us to secrecy. Oh, yes, we have made them at home! Olé! (it's all in the tequila, folks!)

I never said I fell flat on my face after one!!! I suffered terribly the NEXT day!!

I suppose crawling wouldn't technically be considered flat on the floor....

I went to a Local Zoo today - after my Mom's funeral, they have a sunken garden -- it was full of tulips - just wonderful, I alway enjoy the outdoors and it always brings me peace. I hope you have a special place to enjoy.

By definition, alliteration involves consonants, not vowels or diphthongs.

Ian: I thought that alliteration with consonants was termed "consonantal alliteration" whilst vowel repetition was termed "vocalic alliteration" ???

Maybe vocalic alliteration is where the same consonant + vowle are repeated but in the same combiation. I am unsure.

My keyboard is on the blink I am afraid. I must check more carefully with that in mind.

I wonder what "internal" rhyming is called

Darn, missed Rayray! Oh well whenever you come on-site, do know I truly enjoyed the bawdy poem! Kind of reminds me of Shakespeare's comedies. The dialog in The Taming of the Shrew comes to mind.

My reference says that Ian is right and alliteration relates to consonants. Where vowels are involved it indicates the word is assonance.
