Now that was fun! I need all the fun I can get! Just spent form 8 AM to 6 PM in meetings. My bottom is achy from having to sit all day and my brain is overloaded with all the technical aspects of giving the CELDT (a test we give to our limited English speaking students to watch their progress in English) and then all the points we have to check to monitor the progress of our new teachers.

Worst of all is the strain my face went through trying not to yawn and appear to have fallen asleep!

I was thinking of painting wide awake eyes on my eye lids but I guess the snoring would have given me away, huh?!?!

Today is Queensland Day - It is 149 years since the formal separation from New South Wales to make Queensland its own state.

I'm going to a wedding tomorrow. One of my work colleagues is getting married beside the river (hopefully the weather will be sunny). I haven't been to a wedding for about 4 years now so it should be fun.

Col - my mom had a Shihtzu - it was not trimmed up like your little one "Tibby" - we refered to it as a motorize dust mop. Combing her was a b-t-h, it was hard to tell the front from the rear with the fluffy tail the same height as the head.
