Today's Tough Sudoku puzzle is a bit tougher than the cream-puffs that we have had the last few days. I decided to blog it. My solution to today's tough puzzle can be found in the blog that Gath so graciously lets me host here. A link exists in the upper part of the right column of this page. It is listed under "check out the sudoku blog", and named with little imagination. 06/Aug/09 2:02 PM |  |

Good Maen all!Beautiful picture!Decisions, decisions, decisions, Jane! What is a happily retired lady to do????Cool and cloudy here today and I am THRILLED. It has the feel of fall in the air (my favorite time of year) ...although I'm quite sure that the heat of the summer will return soon enough. 07/Aug/09 12:13 AM |  |
oh, I wanted to go for a hike this morning and this picture entices me to go - but alais, to maintain harmony in the household - my backroom does need to be tidied up a bit and the task rests upon my shoulders - 07/Aug/09 12:19 AM |  |
Okay, maybe you should worry about me, but when I saw the photograph, all I could think of was "good place for a murder ..." 07/Aug/09 12:37 AM |  |
Sorry boys, We had been trying to keep it secret but ... it seems it is world wide knowledge now. A British study claims Australian men make the worst husbands in the world because they loathe helping out with the housework. The study says women wanting to settle down are better More... 07/Aug/09 12:38 AM |  |

If your guy is correct, fii, mine is definitely a BLOKE! 07/Aug/09 12:44 AM |  |
I'm with you, Cathy ... if I were to walk this trail, I'd definitely take the dogs along with me ... 07/Aug/09 12:45 AM |  |
Mine is NOT a bloke ... and neither is our son ... who is performing the role of Mr. Mom this summer during his break from teaching. In fact, as I write, he is at the Y with our 10-month-old grandson in the Mommy and Me swim lessons! Hubby and I are bursting blood vessels trying not to laugh out loud! 07/Aug/09 12:50 AM |  |
 Whew, Judy, glad I'm not alone! 07/Aug/09 12:51 AM |  |
No, with me there, Cathy, you wouldn't be alone ... but then, how do you know that I wouldn't murder you! 07/Aug/09 12:56 AM |  |
Oh, my SON can do it all, Judy! I trained him right. Hubby's Mom, on the other hand, was from the old school. Woman's work and all that cr*p. He doesn't refuse, but he is so bad at it, it's just easier to do it myself! 07/Aug/09 1:07 AM |  |
My husband and his brother had lots of assigned chores, and, when they slacked off or didn't do a good job, their mother used to chase them around with a broom! Her techinique was effective, but we trained our son in a slightly gentler manner! P.S. I think your husband has you hoodwinked ... 07/Aug/09 1:14 AM |  |
Happy Thursday!Hubby is one of 6 kids, so they all had house chores. I still do laundry and cook, but he does the dishes and takes out the trash . The Grunt knows how to cook and do laundry--he's moving into his 1st apt at Uni, so we'll see what the division of labor with his roommate(male) will be! 07/Aug/09 1:16 AM |  |
I put my way through college working as a janitor, so I've never had any problem doing housework, and think, especially when both are working full time, that the husband should do half the chores at home. For the two years I was retired before my wife retired, I did everything at home, and thought it was only fair. 07/Aug/09 1:39 AM |  |
The two most important things I taught my two sons: 1. How to prepare their own food2. How to do their own laundryThey won't starve and they should have clean clothes. 07/Aug/09 1:40 AM |  |
In all fairness, he has mastered the art of vacuuming. lol He has just spent 1 HOUR trying to get through to the computer virus protection company. Finally talked to someone in India. Resolved the problem. She said as a 'good will gesture' they would give us a week's virus protection free of charge. He figured out that was about \$1.00 worth! 07/Aug/09 1:51 AM |  |
I'm with you guys - have trained all my lot to cook and clean up after themselves. Some are better at it than others! 07/Aug/09 1:52 AM |  |
Despite the warning on the last page of yesterday - I've been too darn busy to annoy you all! 07/Aug/09 1:54 AM |  |
Hello All. What a beautiful day. Heading out for a round of golf. Have a great day. 07/Aug/09 2:09 AM |  |

Good afternoon to all! This must be a photo of that long and narrow road that you are not supposed to step off of.... Beware! 07/Aug/09 3:02 AM |  |
What's all this crap about men not knowing how to cook and clean? Heck, I boiled an egg several months ago, and I put the garbage out once last month. 07/Aug/09 3:05 AM |  |
