I know for a fact that I'm the person with a score of 5 in Greg's very tricky puzzle. I'd only just got my head around thinking like a Queenslander, when he does a bunk and I have to work out how a Canadian thinks! Sheesh!

I was trying my best to turn the page, but it is very hard to do when you are having a great, Sunday afternoon, nap.
Think the only reason, I am awake right now, is because, one of my bedmates, was trying to open her eyes and they a were not working. My gosh, that girl's world comes to end when her eyes are not working. (She was trying to open them, but they kept closing).

For you tennis fans, the future pro tennis player purchased her first racket and balls today, and tennis lessons start tomorrow. Bammaw is teaching her the basics, I am guessing, then if real interest is there, we will continue the training. K was impressed that Bammaw played tennis, she was shocked to learn her Daddy was a tennis player. Nothing professional.

2:01. Good morning everyone. It's school holiday time and I have a couple of days off work - yay!

I might add that the school holidays benefit my two sons, not me! But I do get to spend more time than normal with them, so it's win-win!

Hubby was just given some rather flash, but unloved push-bikes. Now, I have never learned to ride one, so this could be fun or a disaster. They need to be cleaned, de-cobwebbed, de-rusted etc. They have been left for quite a while, unused, but they have gears, shockies, brakes etc. There is even a pink 'Ladies' bike.

Why do push-bikes no longer have mirrors?

Is there a cosmic rule somewhere, that no matter how hard you try to keep up with housework, (yes I know that sort of language is frowned upon) the moment you take a well earned day off, visitors will arrive?

Grass-hopper, I was just having that same thought and complaining to my sister. Home alone Friday, I made this place sparkle, Saturday, I kept up with it, today I told other people to take care of their stuff. You know how well that went. When putting everyone to bed, I kissed each girl, then went More...

Everybody. I'm back home from my niece's wedding reception. Her brother got engaged today! I think both couples will be very happy! My nephew that got engaged today is the one I talk about, who is like a son to me. Unfortunately, he'll be moving to Gainesville, FL the end of Oct. or early Nov. But I'm happy they'll be together.

CP, you could always get a washer with a light inside, I swear lady, it will change your life. I am a totally new woman because of it.

We had almost 2 inches of rain yesterday, but it stopped and then was just cloudy for the reception. So that was a good thing! Ginny's 'something old' was a magnificent necklace she had made using my mother's and grandmother's diamonds from their engagement rings. So the diamonds were from 1944 and 1918 in their former settings!

Karen - I'm glad that light makes that job so much easier! How nice that your MIL wants to show off your new home to his aunt. He's probably known for days and 'forgot to mention it'!

Serena - I enjoyed reading your link. It actually came up anyway. Normally, I have to remove %20 but I have no idea why they get added unless it's the end of a row of type.

Dottie, I would love to see that necklace, it sounds amazing.

And I am telling you, this new washer has changed my live, tremendously. How have I ever lived without it.

MIL was here Saturday and did not mention she was bring her sister, so I seriously doubt Man knew. The house is not really that bad, it is clean, but not sparkling clean, like it was Friday. My fear will be they go to the garage. That is a room, that I have very little hope for at this time.

Man has started another project, which is not too bad, if he would just finish the previous projects. So now, he still working on the floors, putting holes in my walls and now he is painting the outside fence.
I am so not ready to put holes in my walls.
