No, Dorthea, They don't sail on the beach. It is much easier to "rig" the sails when the boat isn't bobbing around. They rig them on the beach and push into the water when ready. The brightly colored sails are also good advertising for the rental companies.

When I went to do the puzzle, I could only do the letter C. Clicking on the number row did nothing. After I refreshed the page, it was back to normal. I've never had that happen before. Anybody else ever have that happen?

Dorthea - only if they put wheels on them and there is a strong wind.

Gee, Rayray, I forgot about sand sailing. It requires relatively flat, hard packed sand or high flotation tires...

I watched some people sailing on the sand when we were going to Florida. Can't remember where, but my husband was interested in stopping on the trip. We took a month to go to Disney World and back. We only stayed in Florida for two weeks.

And here is the ponderable (yes, it's a word!) for today:

You grasp my handle and give me a push.
I rotate and roll, doing my job.
You put pressure on me,
and I cause division.
Then you enjoy the fruits of my labor,
while I lie, cast aside, feeling cheesy and red of face.

Answers to the "what's with the fruit thing?" inbox, please.

I'm going to be working on this computer today. It is running slow and keeps getting hung up. Very annoying.
I'll (hopefully) be back later!
