1. Note pair 12 at h4/i5.Unique possibilities to 28.
2. If g5=7=h7=b8;column a is devoid of 7.So g5=3.UPs to 39.
3. If i5=1=d4,h4=2 (pair 25 at ac5),i3=3,a3=9=d2,d9=4,d8=8;56 have no place in column d.Hence i5=2.UPs to 81.

Banksia are proteas - they grow on trees. My favorite variety is Pink Mink.

Hi All, I could not do this using Eureka notation. I did find a couple of 'Backdoors' - from basic techiques (UP=28) 5 in c8 or 2 in i5 both give UP=81. Best regards, Neil

I also could not find a short path.Interesting is the most of steps are YW-style:
1) Start at 22,basic techniques to UP=27
2) (7): h6=h7-a7=a5,=>g5<>7.UP=39
3)YWS: (2=1)c2-h2=(1-2)h4=(2)c4,=>c589<>2
4)YWS: (8=1)d8-(1=6)d4-(6=48)e36,=>e8<>8.UP=41
5) More...

Hi Sotir,

Thanks for the above solution - I have studied all the YWSs as part of my studies (BTW, step 7 should start (4=1)d9.
Best regards, Neil

1.SST to UP27
2.kite:(7)h6=h7-a7=a5 > -7g5 UP39
> aur(56)de27 > +6f27
3.(148=6)d489-(6=48)e36 > -4e7, -8e8 UP81
