I'm not really up on this new notation - dou either of you have a blog/webpage which defines it clearly?

Re your solutions, after UP44 I found a shorter one. I will not try to explain in the terminology, but:

I don’t think yours simpler or shorter…, my way to present it as chain :
(triple 136)i179=(7)i7 – (7=6)a7 – (6)a9=(6)i9 => i6<>6
Above chain mean that : one of (triple 136 at i179 & i9=6) is true.
