I did this as a jigsaw and there, on the left of the screen, was an add for a petoskey stone jigsaw puzzle! The petoskey stone is the state stone of Michigan - a beautiful gray fossilized coral found especially in Michigan. Anyway, I clicked on the ad and found this website:

Another long chain solution:
1. Note pair 39 at d7/f9.Unique possibilities to 31.
2. If f5=1=e3=d8=g7,f9=3,g9=5,e2=4,f2=7,d7=9=f3=h9,d2=6,i2=8,g3=6=i9;a9 has no candidate.Hence f5=3.UPs to 81.

1. UP=31
2. (5)f8=d8-(579=7)df2d1 => f8<>7
3. (678=3)deg6-(3)f5=A(9:15)f3-(9)g3=(*29)g21 => g1<>7 UP=33
4. (4)h8=(*24)ac8-(6)a8=a9-(6=8)i9-(8=469)dei2-(9)d7=(9)h7 => h7<>4 UP=34.
5. More...

step 5 should be weak link (5)g9-(5)a9*=B(3)f5-...

one should view the Kraken as a 'key' which can be rotated 180' around the vertical axis. In B the key fits (3)f9=(3)f5; in A you rotate and the key fits (1)f5=(3)f5.

that's a typo in 3.
3. (678=3)deg6-(3)f5=A(15:9)f3-(9)g3=(*29)g21 => g1<>7 UP=33

5. is more clearly notated as:
11/Jun/10 9:17 AM
 |  |

10/Sep/10 10:59 AM
 |  |
1.SST to UP31
2.(5)f8=d8-(579=7)df2d1 >> -7f8
3.(7=368)deg6-(3=159)f358-(9)g3=(29')g12 >> -7g1 >> UP33
4.kraken cell(356)a9 >> -9f3 >> UP81
