This is the third time for this picture.

Gath, where are all the pictures I sent in?
 |  |
It seems the not too tough ones are the only ones I finish and I finished this one. I'm new to the tough level. There must be some proofs i need to learn.

Hello Mary, yes, it was a good gathering and enjoyed by all.

Good meaN,
I understood everything Steve did until 4d.
I cannot understand what is the basis for forbidding b5=4. Once I had that info I was able to complete the Sudoku. Can someone please send me a brief explanation: omerpines@gmail.com
Thanks, Omer.

That's my granddaughter Daryne. Sure can't figure out why it's come up so often... I remember having to size it once because the too large message came up. Thought I submitted it for HARD! Think this is the third time it's shown... Sorry about that. Should have others' pictures on.

Just enjoy seeing her on site Jeannea. I'm just grizzling because I love seeing all the different pictures from around the world that incite me to travel.

Hi Anne, Loved your picture of Wellington yesterday.
 |  |
Omer, I prefer to post explanations on this page rather than to send emails. Hopefully you will have received a response, but it may help you follow the argument to start with the assumption that b5=4. Then b5 can't be 1, so b3 must be 1, a3 can't be 1 so a3 must be 6 so a4 cant be 6, so a4 must More...

Jeannea how do you pronounce Daryne I have a grandaughter named Kiashra < key-ash-ra> I love these new names.

Good puzzle..very straight forward..i enjoy doing such puzzle for i manage to finish it w/o mistakes and guesses...
its been raining and at 2.30 in the afternoon it looks like 6 in the eve...

maybe Steve's proof can be reduced to 8 sets, 5 of them being already used by Steve :
1)i12=4
2)gh5=28
3)ae4=4,ce2=4
4)ag9=5,ag8=4,g89=9 (forbidding a8=5)
