Good Maen!
 |  |
.. I've been away .. Perhaps TOO long .. Someone please tell me the meaning of 'maen' .. Ta ..
 |  |
Morning, afternoon, evening, night. Upper case shows your time zone
 |  |
Too too easy.
 |  |
Good maen. Foggy start today but mild and sunny now.
Daughter and grandchildren just gone back to England after half term so very quiet here.

 |  |
Ta Pam... Good mAen then x
 |  |
Unmentionable time - it's off to bed now as it's just short of 1am.

Good night all.
 |  |
Wow - 4:02 my best for tough! Good Maen, everyone.
Rainy and cold here after record breaking beautiful spring weather. No gardening today
 |  |
Gave up part way through, feeling tired

Oops - paused timer, forgot to restart, wish my time had been 5.21! Nice to have a pic with details - looks fast & cold!

Good MAEN to all!
The following is what I did, full of typos as per usual:
1)start 22, ef 24. L3 at HI7, L8 at B89, triple 689 box H8.
2)ef 35: Triple 236 box e5, L7 at H12, L1 at G3,H1
3) Colors fives:
a5 == (H5 -- h8 == i8) -- hi1 == c1 forbids a3=5.
4) ef 40: Very Ugly FC - surely there is better to be found:
 |  |
4) cont: e5=2 == f5=2 --f9=2 == b9=2 -- b9=7 == a9=7 -- a2=7 ==a2=6 -- g2=6 == g2=1 -- g4=1 == g4=3 -- ab4=3 == b6=3 -- b6=6 == c6=6 --c6=2 == c7=2 forbids e7=2. Sorry, this is what I found.
5) ef 45: Locked 7's ab9: Y wing at a2,a9,c9 forbids 6 at g2
6) ef 81
Again, sorry about the typo's, and th elong and ugly fc.

Good Maen all!! Passed my Karate test last night--oooo new muscles here. Have no idea what the weather is like yet. Can't get up. 18:07. Brain isn't wrapped around the xwing concept yet. Also still don't get the pairs and triplets concept. Oh- well there is time to learn.
 |  |
jeez - edit long fc as follows: start at f9 =2, as the first set of strong, weak links are not needed. Just they were on my sheet.... oops!
 |  |
Another paused timer - just as well, as droopy eyelide make for another slow time.. Night all!
 |  |
Uffa!
 |  |
good Maen, all. One silly mistake cost me, but it was easy to correct. Have a good day!
 |  |
Steve - alternate shorter step 3, 6's in col C forbid a3=5 via col g. Can't contemplate your step 4 until I've had a drink
 |  |
Lucky 13:13 (play that number!) I need a tutorial from Steve in Ohio, or at least the key to code to follow that strategy session.

Given the frigid howling wind outside, didn't need the reward of the South Saskatchewan River, brrrrrr

First time to even try tough. Made it through using check moves. Many mistakes.
 |  |
like, those puzzles were sooooooo tough. I still don't know why they call them tough, even though they were. just finished like 600.make it 601, 602, 603, 604, 605........ i'll get up to 700 any minute now....... 700!!!!!!!! LATER!!!!!
 |  |
Those puzzles were soooooo easy!!!!

like, those puzzles were sooooooo easy!!!! like, i just finished 900!! 901, 902, 903, 904, 905, 906, 907, 908, 909, 910...... i'll get up to 1000 any minute now..... 1000!!!!!! LATER!!!!!
 |  |
34:05 I made it!
 |  |
 |  |
This time fc was slightly better than Steve's.
At 40 filled, (c6=2)==(c7=2)==(b9=2)--(b9=7)==(a9=7)== (a2=7)==(i2=7)==(i2=2)==(i6=2)forbids c6=2. Thanks Steve (and GB wherever you are now). You both taught me a lot.

Good mAen! That river sure looks cold! It's 14 degress outside right now in the middle of the afternoon with a terrible wind chill! Brrr
 |  |
23:58. Did the puzzle fast and was shocked when I got to the bottom and saw my little pookie, Ashley Violet. See you all tomorrow!
 |  |
Is that Harry and David Fresh Fruit-pook yours, Taz B? Definitely cute.

6:07 total minutes, 3:37 setup, 2:30 to solve; fairly straightforward.

Merry maEn, all. Off to see Die Fledermaus tonight.

Steve and all: At 40, I have the 4-deep fc:
(b4=2)==(h4=2)--(h4=1)==(g4=1)--(g2 =1)==(g2=6)
--(a2=6)==(a2=7)--(a9=7)==( b9=7) which eliminates
b9=2 and the rest falls out. Of course, it depends on having eliminated all possible possibles to this point.
 |  |
Earlier, at 29, I used an X-wing in 1's, R13 Cbf to get g3,h1<>1. At 35, there was another X-wing in 3's eliminating 3's in R5: Bb5, Bh5.
 |  |
Sundance: I don't understand your fc. It goes strong-strong-weak, etc, which doesn't permit the (no less than one) - (no more than one) - (no less than one) - etc. logic that an fc must follow in order to draw a strong link between your beginning and starting possibles. Or have I misinterpreted the logical thread you've established?
 |  |
Pardon. My fc is 5 deep.
 |  |
My fc at Steve's step 3 (also color in 5's)
g3==g6--h5==a5 => a3<>5.
 |  |
Maen
