maen all! yeah, i had a harder time on the hard...clamming has been stellar again this spring, even with the late start due to unusually cold water. my son and i got two 5-gal. buckets in about an hour and a half the other day...all 'necks and cherries, no less!

2. If a7=3,b7=8,b6=2,h6=7,h7=9=g1;bottom left box has no place for 239. Hence b7=3. UP81.

I finally looked at yesterday's tough. I posted a solution which has as its first step one similar to what jiminoregon had posted. It uses a Guardian set to imply a strong set used in a chain. Perhaps some will find it interesting. It does simplify the first step, imo.
