 (just waking up here) I deduce Alfred didn't look at my kraken proof carefully, but only at the kraken which he so unfairly maligns. It starts with step 1 - b1<>9, the step proving h2=3 is skipped and merged into a kraken which solves the puzzle immediately.  I did forget (unlike a computer) to add h2=3, after f8=3 in my chain.The Kraken proof you give, (translated into English) is: Whether 3 occupies e9,g9 or h9; f8<>3.Your chains do give that outcome, but a human can also see that 3 at g9 or h9 immediately force f8=3 in the top middle box. I am disputing the name you attach to it (Kraken).You have proved that gh9=3 is false because they result in contradictions at f8, leaving e9=3 being true. It is an irrelevant coincidence that f8 not being 3 determines the truth value of g9 and h9 and e9 - this is what you have never been able to grasp.
