What a wonderful photo! Looks like the bunny is content to get to the finish line on the turtle's back. What a sweet pair!

Brings a whole new meaning to the story of the Tortoise and the Hare! Love the photo...let's hope it's possible to do the jigsaw today.

TT 9.0 for Sunday (SE @ 12 dynamic krakens, 2 krakens, 15 chains & BUG). My path longish with 7 steps - hope for improvement from others.

hint for TT 9.0. Puzzle has very thick, hardened ice at start - crack the ice (I used 2 short krakens) and you deal with a second puzzle which I would rate JBT advanced level.

1. Note a12=37.Unique possibilities to 31.
2. h8=3(to avoid the 37 unresolvable rectangle at ah12).UP50.
3. d5=5(to avoid the 357 UR at de369).UP81.

Love, love, love this photo! I find it so funny that the tortoise's name is Fluffy.I enjoyed doing the jigsaw today!

just out of curiosity, I had SE rate the position I reached after I broke the ice - 8.9; I still rate that position T-Lite or JBT advanced.

T-Lite 8.3 for today (SE @ 4 krakens, 18 chains) has ample room for creative chaining and many patterns.

Shouldn't the bunny be named Fluffy?

intermediate level 8.2 (division under JBT 0..8.2) - SE @ 1 kraken, 19 chains, UR deductions; reality is 3 aic, no als req. what I call "atomic" chains.

Too easy - UP to 46 then straight-forward from there.

TT9.0 "too tough" for me!
Found a couple of Krakens - (3459)a8 => ghi9<>3 and (6)dei6 => h8<>3 and a few chains that make some potentially useful strong-links on 4 ... but then ground to a halt!
Kraken hunting is hard work.

TT9.0 Ouch! Pushed on....
I was determined to make h7<>8 in the first kraken! It is contrived - and I admit to just "bunging" in the (3)i7 and seeing what happened. So not a satisfactory solve - the rest is bona fide!

#1 kraken-row(6)dei6 ; h7<>8
(6)d6* - More...

IL 8.2:
1. Unique possibilities to 32.
2. Whether b5=3=d7=e2=h4=i3;OR b3=5,c4=3,a4=4;i2=4.UP35.
3. If g2=1=e6,a2=6=d3,c1=5,c8=2=g6;12 have no place in box H8.So a2=1.UP81.
