Beautiful! One of our Great Lakes! But my favorite is Lake Michigan!

There are a lot of travelers on this site. How many of us have touched water in all five of the Great Lakes? Speaking of the Great Lakes, I'm hoping to visit Niagara Falls again this summer. About 20% of the Earth's fresh surface water goes over the falls. Amazing.

Me, me, me! I have waded or swum in all five of the Great Lakes, and I fished regularly with my dad in the "sixth" Great Lake, Lake St. Clair. I used to think the water in them was cold until I encountered lakes in the Sierra Nevada Mountains, lakes that are snow or glacier-fed all summer long! Talk about shrinkage ...

Oh, very pretty.

Shiela, I agree with you! Lake Michigan is my favorite, also.

Judy - BRrrrrr - It is hard to imagine anything colder than Lake Superior!!!!!

I was once primitive camping in June in the UP and had to take a bath with eco-friendly soap in Lake Superior. I didn't have to break any ice, but it was the next worse thing. Yikes!

Quickest on record. Got another Great Lakes story:
I was on the dunes near the Michigan/Indiana state line at sunset. It was overcast but there was a band of clear sky to the west. The setting sun broke through behind the clouds and backlit the Chicago skyline way across Lake Michigan. I could clearly see the Sears Tower, etc. Alas I had no camera with me.

8:50 to you all.

Plum, I hope you get to visit the falls. I saw them years ago, and the memory is still vivid.

I've been on 4 of the 5 Great Lakes, and Michigan is my favorite, too. My husband once worked on the ore boats on the Lakes... in fact, he was on the Edmund Fitzgerald!!! He got off only 2 days before she went down!!

I've touched all of the Great Lakes... But us Michiganders have a little advantage, though.

Whoa! Your hubby is one LUCKY man, Heidi!

Clark, Great work as usual. I found an interesting alternative to your steps 3 and 4, a finned swordfish on 1's in ac7af5abcf2:
3) {swordfish acf257}==(1)b2 => a1c1<>1
