Watching a news program this morning, posed a good question. Can you live without your, cell phone, Ipad or smart phone for a week? As long as my girls are with me, I can live without mine for a week. 01/Oct/12 12:11 AM |  |
You know they do have 'rehab', now for people who are addicted to their iphone, pad, etc. Wonder if the addicts are required to go 'cold turkey'... 01/Oct/12 12:14 AM |  |

In case studies, done on college students, one guy said, he felt shaky all the time and had no idea what to do with his hands.Another had a hard time talking to a real person.A woman said that is how she and her husband dated. I carry my phone with me, when Thing I and Man are not More... 01/Oct/12 12:35 AM |  |
Funny, after it rains, I hate getting out in the mud, but give me a good facial mud pack and I am happy. Even the thought of having a mud bath appeals to me. 01/Oct/12 12:37 AM |  |

Got the paperwork for my car registration yesterday and it's not due until December. I guess I can get it done three months in advance. My pension is scheduled to come on the first of the month and I get the pension statement yesterday. California likes to get things done early. 01/Oct/12 1:02 AM |  |
 Hi 01/Oct/12 1:03 AM |  |
everyone! Shame on you, Karen. Hm. My phone. I use it for pretty much all calls and always have it with me when I'm out. Other than that, it sits on the dining room table. I do check e-mail, Sudoku, and Facebook if I'm sitting somewhere waiting for an appointment (NOT while driving!). 01/Oct/12 1:11 AM |  |
I don't think I could last very long without my cell phone because some family member would either call or text me every day! 01/Oct/12 1:20 AM |  |
Several years ago when we were in Florida, we decided to drive through the Everglades. We stopped at a gas station/visitor's center before we began. The guy there told us there was a picnic area a few miles down the road where we could stop for a snack and to take photos but to watch for ''Big More... 01/Oct/12 1:24 AM |  |
Good Morning One and allCell phones, I-pad's, etc...gave up on the cell phone cause it kept ringing when I didn't want to be bothered..almost ready to give up the land phone for the same reason...keep telling folks that its hard to talk when you can hardly hear what's being said on the other More... 01/Oct/12 1:31 AM |  |
I am an e-reader convert, too, Ouima. Wonderful invention, especially when traveling. 01/Oct/12 1:34 AM |  |
I can go weeks without my cell ringing, but I'd miss my iPad if I had to give it up. 01/Oct/12 1:41 AM |  |
I'm addicted to my computer, iPad, iPod, and cell phone. Not that I use them constantly but just their presence is calming. I know if anyone wanted to reach me they could. It's comforting to know that should I wish to read or hear a story, I won't be bored. Even on the plane I'm not forced to watch whatever movie is available, I bring my own choice with me. 01/Oct/12 1:49 AM |  |
I must be getting old. I used to be the 'kid on the block' with the newest toy. But I didn't want a cell phone, 'cause I think I'm entitled to some private time. Time when no one can bother me!Barbara kept hounding me until I finally relented and got an 'el cheapo' Jitterbug. 01/Oct/12 1:50 AM |  |
Hello everyone! Needed this morning, but cloudy at the moment. Fall color is starting to show in our area. 01/Oct/12 1:53 AM |  |
 Wow! That's close! 01/Oct/12 1:54 AM |  |
 On to my duties....
