We watched the Red Wings on a BIG screen TV yesterday and they won!!!! Everytime I watch a game with my son-in-law, they lose. So it was a big deal. 1-0 was the score. It was close!

And it is a completely different day today. VB slept 3.5 hours yesterday afternoon and I slept 3 hours! And, apart from one visit from Elinor at around 3:30, everyone slept the night through!

Well I have woken children - twice each, ironed, sewn up pants (guess I shouldn't do the splits in those huh Mum? - duh!), washed dishes, made drinks, reminded about today's events, given hugs and kisses, fed the washing machine and now the next hour is mine! I am going to finish the puzzles....

Our local radio station has an April Fools Day tradition - they take something that has been in the news a lot recently, put a twist on it, and report something as real news that has just enough truth to fool lots of people. Today's story was about daylight savings and showing up for work an hour earlier. They got lots of calls before the traditional 8 or 8.30 confession!
