Fiona and I completed the jousting in the chat room, away from prying eyes and ears. She had to leave because she was crying ... and her boo boos hurt ...

Well, I'm off to start dinner. We're doing a pork roast on the grill, slathered in fresh rosemary, garlic, olive oil and Montreal steak seasoning.

Sounds lovely, Jane, but not for breakfast, thanks. Save me some for later. I am off to bed - goodnight!

Looks like the past Indonesian president has been re-elected. I think that is a good thing. People say that means 'peace will continue'. I think that depends on curbing the outside influences that are promoting 'separatism' as a political attack on Indonesia. I do notice that about 130,000,000 More...

Just thought I'd pop back to commend you to look at a Youtube "American Janice Idol" - starring the daughter of a midwife friend. It's very cleverly done!

Okay - last "dog" comment unless I have news!! It is my female, and we have to take her to Dallas if she will ever show signs of being ready to give me some granddogs.
I am checking flight costs every day, just in case.
I will give Jeanie the suggestion to try wine on Mocha - she would have to share hers.

What breed of dog is she, Jamie?

Rayray - I watch gourd moaning every Sunday night but I haven't as yet seen the fallen Madonna with the big boobies although I have seen the knockwurst.

Jamie, I have just read your last comment again and if she is called Mocha, she clearly is an English Springer Spaniel. Seriously though, can't you get a hormone shot to bring her into season.

Friends of mine breed Springers and they are beautiful dogs. Lots of Australian and NZ Champions. I'm more of a blue roan cocker fan as they are that little bit smaller. Other friends have just had a litter of 7 blue roan (3) and tri colour (4) cockers and they are trying to convince my wife we need a puppy. Our last dog died last year.
See you all later as I'm off to buy some soup for lunch.

Saylz.... I agree with your friends. You need a puppy. Opportunity knocks. Answer it.

Hello everyone, Chris the barn makeover looks good as well as your son though he must be a bit older now. Judy and Fiona have been keeping us amused and Jane has us drooling over the food not to mention the suspence of the doggy romance so that Jamie can go to the fionafest. LOL

I take no credit for the following - someone sent it to me. I think it is hilarious:

There was a man who worked for the Post Office whose job it was to process all the mail that had illegible addresses.
One day, a letter came addressed in shaky handwriting to God, with More...

CP, I enjoyed that Youtube of your friend's daughter.
I also had a look at the YouTube put out by Dave Carroll 'United Smash Guitars' after United Airlines would not compensate him for the guitar they smashed.
Great story Rayray. Although I have seen it before it is still a good laugh.

do they have kitchen sinks in Fl? My packing is going badly - will need to start eliminating the excess baggage...

Mo, I think some people here have cooking timers which they set for an hour after the last post. When the timer rings, all it takes is a quick glance to see if anyone has posted in the meantime. It sure would beat sitting looking at a blank page for an hour!
10/Jul/09 8:42 PM

Fiona, that sounds like how things were when we had the last to post competition. My hubby wondered why the kitchen timer kept going off!

Fiona - you do not need to bring a kitchen sink - at least not in Daytona. We have two available for your use. Besides, if you have dirty dishes, all you have to do is put them out on the balcony and the rain will wash them clean.

Fiona - here's a packing trip: Buy a pair of Crocs in the wildest color you can find and then pack only those clothes that go with them.
