Good evening everyone. I didn't know that daylight saving finished in Victoria today!!!
 |  |

Okay, I'm confused. I thought it was still Sunday! Left Melbourne at 9pm, it was Sunday - home in Canberra now at 11.48pm now,I thought.
 |  |

Will go back and catch up on archives tomorrow, time for bed now. Goodnight.
 |  |
It's only 10:50pm Sunday 11th here in Qld but I've jumped ahead to Monday 12th....a time traveller just like Dr Who !!

Funny mob, the people on this site. In some respects I am reminded of three of the characters from the Wizard of Oz.

There are those with no ticker, a few with no brains, but there is only ONE coward that I can think of, of those who post regularly.

Happy or not so Happy Daylight Savings Time!

Hi all, welcome to a new day!
 |  |
no wadgy we're still on summertime daylight savings - another couple of weeks to go I think.
tho with games like this one here tonight, I start to feel less sure!
one thing i do know is that the change happens on a saturday night not a sunday. and the clocks today were still on summertime...
 |  |
ok now off to meet the train.
night all.

2:54 - not a very good time today.

Good night all.

No Wagdy, Daylight Saving ends in about a fortnight. That's when the clocks willgo back one hour for most but not all states - Meg in Qld does not have daylight saving so it's still Sunday there whereas its now Monday in Sydney (NSW) and Melbourne (Victoria). It is definately NOT winter. It was 30 degress today in Sydney - that's centigrade/celcius.
 |  |
13 days till then end of daylight saving - are we still in sync with the UK changing the other way? A much nicer 24 degrees C tomorrow and the chance of some rain!

Good morn happy Baby - Well, I had 3 mistakes 2 of which were too fast on the click and I was only 6% faster then others on another board. I will be keeping my novice status for today. Well, have a good start to your day or a relaxing evening. We sprung ahead last nite.

Glinda - it's uncanny - I have a trampoline too...
 |  |
Good Sunday Maen, all!

Hubby darted around the house changing all the clocks (don't realize how many you have until you try to find them all!) to Daylight Savings Time (muttering to himself, 'Didn't I just do this not so long ago?')
 |  |

Maybe we could start a worldwide protest on daylight saving. You save it - the bloody government is only gonna tax it.
 |  |
and if we bother to save it the banks will only charge us fees and give us no interest....so it really is of no benefit!!!

Thank god. The toast was going stale anyway. Now we can just bounce along into a new round of crap.

There is a girl in Perth City Who calls herself the human trampoline And sometimes when I'm falling, flying Or tumbling in turmoil I say Whoa, so this is what she means She means we're bouncing into Sudokuland.

Sorry for the liberties Paul.

A blonde gets on an airplane and sits down in the first class section of the plane. The stewardess rushes over to her and tells her she must move to coach because she doesn't have a first class ticket. The blonde replies, 'I'm blonde, I'm smart, I have a good job, and I'm staying in first class More...

My time was a poor 3:07, I must still be sleepy. I for one like Daylight Saving Time. I am not a morning person, and so do not suffer from 'morning darkness' that some complain of at the onset of DST. I can understand why those closer to the equator do not gain anything by going on DST because the More...

Hey Greg, the standard of jokes has been slipping lately and with that last blonde posting you are not doing much to improve it.
