A redneck buys a ticket and wins the lottery. He goes to Austin to claim it and the man verifies his ticket number. The redneck says: “I want my $20 million.”
The man replied, “No, sir. It doesn’t work that way. We give you a million today and then you’ll More...

Danstell - Friday the 13th granddaughters are the best, aren't they!!!

Shiela - I think I might be a little superstitious, but I always interpret things in my favor... We once had a little black cat that we named Miss Fortune.

Warming up here. It's supposed to be close to 60° today, then drop down into the 30's over the weekend. I'm calling it yo-yo weather.

And for today....

I'm between 56 and 100.
I'm not a decimal.
I'm not 100.
I'm not even.
I'm not in the middle tens.
I'm lower than 50.
I'm above 2.
I'm less than 10.
I'm not 7.
I don't go into 10.
What am I?

Good Maen, all! Sarah Beth - loved your joke. Wish there was a "like" button here. Actually, there should be "like" and "groan" buttons.

Kathy (Fl), I saw your response yesterday about the site, and I agree with the sketchy growth of the site that you outlined. In terms of privacy and this site versus FB, you omitted one very important fact. From day one Gath protected the privacy of his players, and with every change and More...

Just made a coconut lemon cake to take to a party in Jacksonville tomorrow night. It's a ski club pre-trip party where I'll have a chance to meet some of the others who will be taking the Steamboat trip. I had to get out of the kitchen to escape the aroma. It's driving me crazy!

Danstell - when Jaime and I had our wine importing business, I used QuickBooks. I am not a math person so really hated doing the books manually. QuickBooks was a lifesaver! I actually enjoyed using it!

I have a question for you that I've wondered about for years.....

What hair color do they put on the driver's licenses of bald men?

And one more question...

If 4 out of 5 people SUFFER from diarrhea...does that mean that one out of five enjoys it?

Here's an interesting comment I found in Archives on 1 June, 2005:

I went back to Archives scanning for names I might recognize from the "early years". Some I spotted were: André from England, k from brissie, Cathy from southern ontario, beehive, and Jim from Jupiter. There seem to be posts from many years AFTER 2005 mixed in with the 2005 ones, probably some kind of computer glitch.

Back when I was first getting acquainted with Sudoku people, I actually made some notes for myself to help me remember who was who (or should that be whom was whom?). Danstell - nice to see you here! Do you really tango? We went to see a tango show in Buenos Aires. We learned a lot about the history of that dance & the fact that it originated in the brothels of Argentina in the 1880's. It developed as an "acting out" of the relationship between More...

Kathy, I remember all of of that, and I think I could match you and assist on the 'early' people who were here and disappeared, many of whom used false names at the start.
