Nuts. Coulda had it if I hadn't stop to read posts. Oh Well. I like your tulip Sue. Mine have plenty of green leaves, but no buds yet. I don't have any two-toned ones, just yellow and red. They came with the house, when we bought it. My hyacinths are up, but they are not real happy with the chilly weather.

Jill, the hyacinths have already bloomed here as have the jonquills/daffodils. I now have tulips and iris blooming.

Wow, Sue. We have hellebores, puschkinia (striped squills) and crocus blooming and most of our daffodils have yet to bloom. The tulips aren't over 3" tall yet and, I'll have to look, but I don't remember the iris poking up yet.

Great day here, with dwarf irises still blooming and blue hyacinths putting on a nice show, too. Easter dinner for hubby and me yesterday was chicken breasts stuffed with mozzarella, prosciutto and sun-dried tomatoes. Not traditional, but darn good. Hope everyone had a wonderful Easter.

Plum I bought quite a few nice pieces of jewellery to sell in my eBay shop and also a rug making kit! IMBM - canvas, hooking tool and all the cut wool for a 1 metre x 2.50metre rug. The reason for buying....the colour is the same as 2 sofas we have for our salon, when it ever gets done. About the same time as the rug......

Hi Ho, Hi Ho it's off to work I go. I can't be late today as I'm the boss this week. Everyone but the storman and me are holidaying overseas. I'm hoping the boss brings me back another pair of possum hair socks from NZ. They are so warm and cozy.

I used to like doing rug hooking, Mo. Doesn't take a lot of concentration, so it's something you can do in front of the TV. NOT a good project for the summer, though (unless the AC is cranked up!)
